Being an ex Bar-Restaurant owner I can see things not so obvious to the common eye. The review has mostly to do with bringing things to the owner's/manager attention and hopefully take some action to make impovements. We were there for Saturday Brunch.. Good welcoming impression and guidance to the outside area. Order taking went smoothly. We utilized two small tables so we could fit all the items we ordered. Both tables appeared to have been washed but not dried therefore smearing paterns of the water alkali was left dry on the surface. Both of our tables had crumbs on their bottom part and the two large tables across from us had rather large spider webs decorating their support column. Coffee arrived 95% correct with an item missing and took another 10' to bring it. Paper straw went unusable after 10' and took another 20' to replace it. Order came as ordered 45' after placing it. I can't say I was thrilled with the flavors but the presentation was ok. Table cleaning was done timely and properly. The whole experience could have been better provided the waitress treated us with the basic proffesionalism required by her position. While not necessarily rude she did not display the basic manors she's supposed to have toward her customers such as offering a welcoming phrase and/or smile, and having a basic two way communication with the client so when he orders he gets a reply and when he asks for something he gets an affirmation and not the back of the waitress walking away. The place is very nice located in a beautiful area. I will give it sometime before I go back in hopes that things would have been improved by then.
