Ambiance is five stars. Best I've seen in Kigali. Decor plus view - indoor outdoor space is well done. The price-value equation needs work. Especially with food. The high prices (relative to other restaurants in Kigali) would need to be matched by excellent execution. Unfortunately, my chicken was unexceptional (flavour, texture, portion size, presentation), the side was mediocre (texture, flavour, presentation), and the food arrived barely warm. I have a fairly small appetite, but despite ordering an appetizer and a main course, I was still hungry afterwards. It's a new restaurant, so hoping they quickly adjust either their food quality or their prices to ensure the price-value equation is better balanced. I the meantime, I would recommend going for a drink and the view, rather than for the food.

For lunch the place is empty, you can enjoy good food almost by yourself so good option for a business lunch. For diner, the place changes totally and becomes full of the golden youth of Kigali.

Definitely a good fresh new spot in Kigali, food is good but far from amazing, view is nice but facing one of the busiest roads in Kigali, very noisy. The bill was too high for 2 entrée and 1 pasta and 1 risotto, and 1 bottle of good Italian wine, nothing so fancy, a good Italian common wine. Not even a complementary glass of still water from the house but a mandatory +5% service fee on the bill.... okay, been there, saw it, paid.

Beautiful set up place lots of eye for detail. Excellent atmosphere and best wine selection in kigali. Cheesecake was super, tapas as starter not bad, but why is it so difficult for pretentious places like this to do something special for a main course? Medium rare steaks are more than well done, fish and veggies are overcooked and the use of any type of spice and herbs extremely limited. As said atmosphere and staff make up for the lack of quality of the food. On the whole I'm on the fence whether this place is worth the money.

Nice ambience, quite a classic place to eat and chill at. The food portion(marinated chicken) was small for my liking. I like the place though, I'll visit again to give more reviews.

Beautiful interior and outdoor seating area with a separate additional bar, quiet and cozy ambience, very friendly and attentive staff, we visited in group and we were offered complimentary soup and bites :) Extensive wine list from all around the world I recommend visiting this place before the sunset to enjoy the outdoors area and the view

This place is wonderful. It is very classy. There is dining inside and outside on the terrace. The view of Kigali is spectacular. Nori was our server, very kind and professional. The decor is absolutely amazing. When I return to Kilgali I will definely go there for a night out.

Atelier du Vin is GORGEOUS! The food and service are okay. The wine selection is definitely above average for Kigali. It's a good place for a celebration.

They have excellent customer service and a very talented crew of singers who sing for you when you’re enjoying your wine.

-1 star for the food. I mean, this place is amazing: the atmosphere, great decor/lights, drinks, and music... packed on Fri and Sat... But I would not recommend anything from their overpriced kitchen. I think they need a new chef because even their own waiters kept mixing our orders and were unable to distinguish what food they served us (calling my burnt and way too salty lamb curry... chicken curry !). And, of course, do not expect quick service during the weekend. If you just want a place to have a good time with your friends, enjoy the crowd, vibe, and beautiful ladies, at least you won't be disappointed!

Enjoyed the mini-burger trio. Service a bit slow (maybe due to the crowds), and the cocktails could have been better. Great ambience, decor, and a beautiful view of Kigali, especially by night.

A trendy restaurant with panoramic views, attentive service, and a huge wine selection, as the name suggests! The entrance to Atelier du Vin is around the back of a wine wholeseller, car repair yard, and some industrial units, and so it is inauspicious on arrival. However, the elegantly designed restaurant soon puts those thoughts behind you as you enter a lavish dining room with plenty of friendly staff to aid your choices. The steak with garlic sauce was excellently prepared, and the accompanying South Australian wine was a perfect match. This is mid-priced, more expensive than the Hut but cheaper than L'Epicurean, and it places well between those two.
