Mixed experiences for our travelers. Some room clean and fresh while others musty as if they had not been used for some time.

The hotel has renovated and the facilities has been increased. Also the price has increased. The foods and the service was good as always. The place and the rooms are not in good clean as the construction is still on going

We've visited the hotel for the traditional dances on Friday night. The show was excellent, thank you ! The view from the terrace is spectacular, wonderful lights over Kigali. Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed with the (food) service / kitchen. We had to wait for our dishes for over one hour which I do not find reasonable as we were the only table occupied. When the dishes arrived, my father and husband only received their meat...no side dishes although it was mentioned on the menu that this meat will be served with fries and vegetables. First the waiter told us that we would need to order the side dishes additionally, after asking for the menu again which clearly mentioned that those side dishes are included, we were told that the chef forgot to prepare them! We did receive fries and vegetables 15-20min later but of course we had already finished our meal. It's a pity for the hotel to ruin an actual great experience with (it seems) the forgetfulness of the kitchen chef. He should re-study the menu 😉 By the way, the food which we've actually received and were able to taste, was very good 👍

I live over the valley from this place. They blast music at ear-splitting volume all day and sometimes late into the night. Loud enough to give you a nosebleed. No one living nearby gets any sleep. Awful place. If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing place to stay in Kigali – try the other side of town.

I am a member of the Sals Spa gym and use the swimming pool facilities. The ladies changing rooms are in dire need of a repair to the showers as one is only cold water and the other has water that becomes scalding hot. I have reported this to the management on several occasions as it is a health and safety risk especially to young girls who may inadvertently use the shower and get burnt. I sent videos to show them but all they did was to cover the exposed water unit. Beware if you use the showers in the women's changing room and do not let young girls go there on their own. Update April 2, 2022: The shower that had scalding hot water has has the water heating unit replaced. However the water is now tepid which is safer but not enjoyable. Well at least no one will bet scalded for now.

When you search for hotels with free cancellation and non-prepayment in Kigali, they are among the first 10 hotels to show up. If you book them and later cancel, they will charge your card immediately and claim that your booking was non-refundable. They will adamantly refuse to refund your money back even when it’s clear that they are liars. Please beware of this and stay away from this hotel.

The place can do with the maintenance and the deck needs fixing. The safety of the deck and lift is questionable

This was my second stay at the Manor Hotel. I had a nice one week stay. Unlike my first visit when there was some renovation-related noise, it was quiet this time. The staff were helpful and made my stay worthwhile. The Friday evening cultural dance is just fabulous! Thanks in particular to Barbra, for her customer care when I had an issue with internet, which was quickly resolved. Murakoze!

the staff didnt seem to give us attention ,we had to keep calling them to be served . we ordered chinese chicken sizzling and they served us chicken tandoori, which was so disappointing and a whole different cuisine (indian) , we didnt enjoy our meal given the fact we were hungry and looking forward to a wholesome meal . please improve on service and train your employess the Manor!

Manor hotel has exceptional service. All the staff members were attentive and helpful. The location is great with beautiful views. Having said that I am rating it 3/5 for the disruptive construction taking place inside the hotel. You’ll hear drilling and hammering most of the day every day so you can’t really sleep in. I stayed on the 3rd floor where laborers were transporting construction materials all day up and down the stairs and the elevators were out of service. I was out at the pool when I watched the construction taking place and ply wood just fell from the 3rd floor and thankfully did not hurt anyone. There needs to be more precautionary practices put in place for the guests while this is going on. Additionally the room rates should be adjusted during this period.

Enjoy the food and at good prices, the Kulfi ice cream is my favourite. On a Friday, they seem to have cultural dancers too. A great one stop shop, massages and hairdresser can be found downstairs for males and females.

Is one of my favourite hotel in Kigali, nice selection of drinks and food, has a beautiful view and I love that al the time I come back the staff remember about me and what I like to drink. Definitely I recommend it and I will come back in the near future.

Terrible customer service from the gym and management. I was a regular with my kids teaching them to swim, suddenly, 3 year old kid wasn't allowed in with their fruit and drinking water- apparently 'new policy ' with no reasonable explanation. Response from management was bizarre for a '4 star' hotel: unprofessional and slow. Very unfortunate to have such establishments in Kigali !

We booked this hotel back 2021 for our wedding and stay in for the night, but we were surprised when they changed our room to a different room without a good view like previous one; then in early morning while we were taking a shower the water bust out flooded into our room we had to evaluate with all our stuff to a temporary room; It was a disaster. The hotel itself is great in beautiful places, but old stuff needs maintenance/ remodeling.

I recently visited Manor Hotel to see their cultural dance performance, and I must say, it was an experience of a lifetime! The performers were incredibly talented and showcased the local culture beautifully. The hotel itself is stunning, with a great ambiance and a peaceful environment that's perfect for relaxation. The staff were attentive and made sure we were comfortable throughout the evening. Additionally, the food was delicious and exceeded my expectations. Overall, I highly recommend Manor Hotel for anyone looking for a unique cultural experience with great food and a beautiful environment. Thanks for an unforgettable evening, Manor Hotel!

STAY AWAY We booked a hotel rated 4 star. Upon arrival, we were given a room on 3rd floor, with no working elevator. Bathroom shower didn’t work, bathroom smelled mouldy. The lamp next to night-table had no plug, wires went directly into socket. Mattress had yellow stains. In fact, the whole building was in very poor condition. Buffet breakfast was pitiful. Hardly any fruit in a country overflowing with fruit. The other food choices were just as bad. When we tried to check out, the manager hid in his office. We were told he had a 5 minute phone call. 20 minutes later he had not appeared. Pathetic. We never got a refund for the 4 nights that we didn’t stay there. We do feel sorry for the hotel staff who are nice, and are trying to do their best under a pathetic, incompetent management. Stay away from this place!

I had a quarentine stay at The Manor as I live near by. This meant i had limited time for a full experience but the team there are great! There is also some solid investment happening to change the venue up a notch. Lovely pool and terrace area with beautiful views and good food choices. Just to give you a sense of how the people make the difference, I couldn't find my phone charger cable when I got home so popped back to see if I had left it behind. The Receptionist was brilliant, took me up to the room and we searched, sadly nothing. But the room had been serviced and sure enough the person who had done that turned up and produced my cable... Its the little things and honesty that means a lot. Thank you.

One of the finest and friendliest hotels of Kigali. African hospitality coupled with Asian technology and experience to bring this lovely edifice. It has a fantastic banquet hall, apart from other amenities to make it an ideal choice for the guests. We were part of the guests to attend 'Independence Day celebrations' of Pakistan on 14-August-2016. We traveled about 150 kms from Goma, Congo DRC for this august gathering. It was well attended by nearly 500 guests. It included a Pakistani entrepreneur working as Advisor to the Rwanda Government. The event was hosted by Zeeshan Morvi. The event ended with a sumptuous dinner for the guests.

What I see at this hotel was luck of coordination in everything. I ordered a food and it took them an hour to bring it to my table and the service they give is the worst the only good thing about the hotel is the location!

😐 Had an urgent need to sleep over in Kigali and opted for Dove hotel as i kindda liked the name and the price ($50 per night for a standard room with breakfast).
