Overall a great choice for a first time visitor to Rwanda. They offer an excellent airport shuttle for free; you just have to email them your flight info in advance. The rooms are nice with large beds and mosquito netting. Hot water is good, but beware if you're used to a shower curtain because there is none, and you can easily flood the bathroom. The restaurant is average with a modest view of the city and the grounds are gorgeous and lush. Above all, the staff is very courteous. I arrived at 7am after being delayed over 12 hours and the staff allowed me a late checkout with no extra charge so I could shower and nap before my shuttle the same afternoon. You couldn't get that level of compassion at an American hotel for sure!

Excellent hotel, lovely clean and safe hotel. The staff are so friendly and helpful, never had someone run after me with an umbrella. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Evening meals served in the courtyard style restaurant, plenty of choice and large portions.

3 years ago, Chez Lando was a good destination, nice hosts and good service. Today there is none of those! The cleanliness at the restaurant is ⛔️⛔️⛔️, service is ⛔️⛔️⛔️⛔️. Not a good experience at all!

Worst service. We’ll never come back

Not commenting on the hotel. There should be another page for the restaurants which are at a different spot - closer to the roundabout. I tried the courtyard one, downstairs. It's a laid-back spot to drink beers, or Fanta Fiesta and eat some brochettes. The zingaro brochettes were really good. I had them with a straightforward avocado salad (generous as far as quantity goes). Nothing fancy, but honest. Service was really nonchalant, which was a good point as we wanted to hang out for a long time there and we were welcomed to do so.

Service: pleasant staff from room service to the restaurant but the guys at the reception were the best. Very responsive and helpful. Rooms: mine was standard. Had a balcony, a worktable, was clean and they provided clean towels. If you get a room on the busy side of town, prepare yourself for some sleepless nights, worse on the weekends. Also, the sound of vehicles and motorcycles can get intense n kept me awake a number of nights. The bed was comfy, sheets clean. Restautant. There was room service till very late. I once ordered room service way past midnight. I live for 24 hr room service. Location: central to restaurants, banks etc. The location is a downside if you get a room facing the busy road. Internet Connection: Was very shaky and kept buffering. I'd say they can do better especially at the restaurant.

I arrived at Lando's at 9:30 in the morning. I found customers on tables, but no staff in the dining room. 30 minutes later, still no one came to take the customer's order... Deplorable service

The restaurant has great food.. I usually come here for the brochettes.. don’t go before 8pm as they may not have the type of meat you like (zingaro, ururimi..)

Chez Lando has been great for a couple of stays in Kigali. Rooms lack a few modern amenities like air conditioning, the wifi can be a little slow, and sometimes the furnishings show a little wear, but they're clean, comfortable, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The shuttle service to KGL is excellent. The restaurant's quality is good, but can be a little slow. Overall, I would definitely recommend Chez Lando, just set a few expectations accordingly. If there were half stars, they'd be a 4.5 in my book.

Really friendly staff, beautiful gardens, and clean rooms. I enjoyed the breakfast spread-tons of options-and had dinner a few times and it was delicious!!

The hotel is well situated near the airport and very confortable and green. The staff is kind and helpful. Once, I forgot my mobile phone in the room before a flight and they not only found it immediately, but also bought it to me, to the airport before I get on the plane. Very much recommend.

Quite a cool experience here. Hosts are welcoming and warm. Just one issue though. Service is absolutely slow. Food I requested for took atleast 1hr to be served. Perhaps a little upgrade in that domain would help.

I’ve stayed here multiple times for work. Rooms are dated, and without A/C. Internet signal is weak in the rooms but better in the lobby. The hotel does have a beautiful garden and outdoor restaurant that I would recommend as a quiet escape from the busy city.

Nice hotel with big rooms, distributed in different buildings connected by gardens. Everything was clean and adequate. We hold a business meeting in the hotel and staff was always very helpful, although the WiFi failed everyday at certain times. Food in the restaurant and bar was tasty and with reasonable prices, popular also among locals.

Very nice place for all types of situation (family gathering, group outing, romantic evening...). It is a very nice environment, easily accessible and their food is to die for. Specially their grilled chicken. The service is great however I believe it could be a little bit quicker. Other than that it is a place to visit while in Kigali.

I have not stayed there, but I have eaten there many times. Always really good quality food. Never seems to be too busy to get served. nice to have a bar with a pretty good pool table as well.

A very nice hotel, clean, with all the facilities. I was in the reception building which has a very modern and convenient lift. Meals at their restaurant are extremely abundant. Portions could be enough for 2 people. Staff is efficient and polite. Waiters and bell captain (Emmanuel) show extreme gratittude when I gave them tips (unlike staff at other hotels or countries). Near the KCC. Overall I was very happy and satisfied.
