High Ground Villa was a beautiful escape and home away from home. Set on the beautiful hills of Kigali, this beautiful air bnb has a great view of the city that helps you relax. I stayed in the 4 bedroom apartment and it had a tv connected to wifi, a big kitchen with utensils, towels, etc. The staff came to clean every morning. The host John plat was absolutely amazing and lovely. He made us feel at home and gave us the best Rwandan coffee available. I totally recommend this place if you are in Kigali. No ACs tho but very cool and airy. There was light all through, the water wasn’t as hot as I wanted it but it was manageable.

Great stay with secured place- really nice place with an amazing view of the city. Jean Claude is the man, I can’t say enough nice things about him. He helped us navigate Kigali and gave us suggestions. Super helpful and his apartment was very very nice. Highly recommend!

Wow! I just loved this place, I would say it's a great place to call "home". The entire staff always greet you with a smile and are very helpful to your needs most importantly the boss himself mr JEAN CLAUDE ,The grounds and facilities are kept clean every day by friendly courteous workers. well I am currently living in china but I can't wait to go back. I hope you guys can try this place, you won't regret. your money will be well spent ....

Actually we didn’t stay at that hotel. We were staying around and just saw that they had a nice view. We wanted to get some lunch from there, but the kitchen was closed. The very friendly and open boss just drove us to a very beautiful restaurant around. We were suprised by that extend of kindness! Wow such a beautiful place!

We stayed there for almost 2 weeks. The location is perfect for exploring Kigali and its surroundings. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The owner Jean-Claude is very friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and help us with all our needs during our stay.

Highly recommended to anyone visiting Kigali. We went for a work conference and shared an apartment with colleagues. Our host, Jean Claude, was really accommodating and helpful. He picked us up from the airport, arranged for a taxi for the remainder of our stay. Breakfast was amazing fresh fruit. The apartment is clean, comfortable. It really felt like a holiday despite being there for work. I think this accommodation would also suit families and with Jean-Claude himself being the family man and being such a caring host, this feels like the perfect holiday stay.

This accommodation is owned by the delightful host - Jean Claude. It offers a magnificent view of Kigali during the day and night. The interior and exterior decor are gorgeous, contemporary and homely. Would recommend over and over again!

Nice place but far from city

Their cooks are very welcoming and ready to do everything you request as long as that will get you satisfied. Great place to be in Kigali. Rooms are also cool

This house is amazing, the pictures don't do enough to capture the warmth of this home...i stayed here with my two friends.. there is a master suite..each of the bedrooms have private bathrooms, hot showers and you can get a private chef to cook for you its an small additional fee, the house is very clean fully stocked kitchen(plates,glasses,coffee maker) If this place is available you must stay here,, 15 min ride from city center, 24 guard, beautiful view... friendly host thats always available parking...

Amazing choice if you are planning a trip to Rwanda. Less expensive than a hotel, very close to everything and Jean Claude will set you up with transportation for the day that is super affordable. I will be staying there if I return. Highly reccomend.

We had a pleasant stay at High Ground Villa. Jean Claude and his staff made us feel like we were part of the family. The house offers an unbelievable view of the whole Kigali and more. Shortly after we arrived, the host picked us at the airport. He even went out of his way and drove us to pick up some groceries and do few errands before heading to the house. I didn't have a phone for the first 3 days, so Jean Claude let me borrow one of his cellphones and even added minutes. I have never experienced this kind of hospitality before. Jean Claude goes out of his way to provide a pleasant stay for his guests. Overall, thank you for the perfect experience. Definitely would come back!

Staying at High ground Villa was an awesome experience. Jean Claude is an amazing host, loving and caring for his guests. I loved the ambiance and the neighborhood. It's a quiet environment and so serene for vacation. Don't hesitate having your stay at the place.

Stayed here for under three weeks. Jean Claude is super welcoming, it is very obvious he cares about maintaining customer relationships more than a single price tag. The main cab driver David is also amazing and shares the same values. The location is far from the city center, so it is best if you have a car. Would not recommend walking around the streets even in daylight as the locals there are not used to seeing foreigners. The view from the balcony is amazing but not completely visible from the terrace/patio.

I and my family had very memorable and great time at HighGround Villa for about a month. We had enjoyed specular view of Kigali city, niece neighborhood, and super clean rooms with enough beds and rooms for BIG family. My kids enjoyed walking and explorer new things in the neighborhood and playing football other kids. Jean Cloud, his adorable wife and kids, and staff are super kinds and very caring. They treated us with great respect and as family. Security guards were super nice and helped me not only load/unload groceries items and luggage but also keep my rental car clean every day. I also got opportunities even to meet Jean’s siblings and parents and found all are so caring and loving families. Great memorable time for entire family and definitely will come back to HIGHGROUND VILLA again for another visit and stay. LOVE IT! Keep on the great JOB.

Wonderful, quiet,peaceful and beautiful place with great views of the city. The host Jean Claude is always available for any assistance and will go out of his way to make your stay comfortable. My room got upgraded for free due to availability of a bigger option and i was dropped off for free to a restaurant nearby for dinner ,a place that had another wonderful view of the city.Would recommend the place 💯

Rented the whole place for a family trip. Nice hosts and a great place to make wonderful memories. Ps: the view from the balcony at night is amazing
