What a nice experience I had at this restaurant, conveniently located inside Kigali Marriott Hotel. For starters, I had a tomato based soup with some bread and for mains, I had a tomato-based pasta with succulent lamb cuts in it, then topped all off with a glass of red wine. Gosh, everything was fresh delicious and so hearty. As I expected Italian food to be. Should’ve noted the names of the dishes I had. Service was prompt and professional. The extra touch for me was my server advising me on red wine to have based on what I like. It’s pricey but worth it.

Food was amazing and quick service. carpaccio beef was very good.

My third time at Cucina, a must go when visiting Kigali. Food is great, price is reasonable and staff is very kind. Served by Aline this evening and again she made it an unforgettable experience. Thanks so much Aline!

Very convenient if you staying at the Kigali Marriott hotel. Friendly waiters. Woodfire pizzas are good. They serve you a steamy hot towel to wash your hands before your meal Edit: 16 December 2019. No more steamy hot towel :(

Cucina is a classy Italian restaurant within Marriott kigali providing good pizzas , pasta dishes.Efficient and friendly staff. Their Tiramisu is impressive and is highly recommended. Came here twice over the course of one week and each time I was extremely satisfied. First the food was excellent every time. Tasty, with outstanding presentation, and the plates were abundant. The service was equally outstanding, and the atmosphere superb. The prices may be high for Rwanda, but very reasonable for me.

Nice ambience, service, food, price, variety, wine, volume, timing. But everything is too salty, especially pizza.

The food is nothing impress you, but you can eat it, the customer service is ok the ambient is good as well is ok for family.

Authentic Real Italian, this place has the best tiramisu in East Afica! We had minestrone soup, gnocchi, pizza and of course tiramisu.

Delicious authentic food, pricey for Kigali but it is in Marriott and well worth it. Very well trained staff. Lovely setting, good for lunch meetings. The bread, olive oil and balsamic is incredible.

The service was extremely slow even though more than half the restaurant was empty. The food was ok and after waiting a log time for the bill we had to get up and stand by the door in order to pressure them into letting us pay. Go to Kigali Heights instead, you will get much better food in one of the restaurants with better services in the same (or lower) price range.

Our waiter Jado was great. Very informative, helpful, kind. We will return just to see him.

Everything about the man and experience was amazing. The staff is beyond friendly, the chef let the kids help cook their pizza, each dish was amazing, and Pierre and Louise played with the kids throughout the evening. Highly recommend for anyone in Kigali.

I ordered chef’s recommendation pizza. Unfortunately, the pizza I ordered was not served for a whole hour. The other tables except me enjoyed their dinner, but I couldn’t enjoy it at all. Even one table who entered later than me left the restaurant earlier than me after their dinner finished. I do not get it their system. As I have been stayed many times in this hotel, but this experience was worst. I just had couple of glasses of wine with bread and I left. Thank you for the amazing experience.

Great restaurant. The food and service were fantastic. The eggplant starter was wonderfully cheesy and flavorful. The Tortelloniin saffron sauce was nice, light, not too overwhelming. The beef tenderloin main was excellent - tender and flavorful. The tiramisu dessert lived up to it's reputation and I highly recommend it.

The atmosphere is incredibly relaxed and perfect for dining experiences. I was particularly impressed with their starters, as well as the main courses. The service staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive, truly adhering to their word when they estimate an order will take 5 minutes. I certainly plan to visit frequently.
