This place blew my mind. The menu was so vast my colleague asked the very helpful waiter to recommend both his dishes. Paneer both ways. Tandoori style and then in a dahl. Turns out you can never have too much paneer. Good choice, waiter. I dived in on my own and went for some sort of stuffed potato dish (wonderful) and then also ended up with a paneer curry (see previous statement regarding paneer). The flavours were phenomenal, the bread was perfect. Cold beer, good vibes. Super nice team of folks. 10/10.

One of the best restaurants in Kigali, Khana Khazana is an Indian restaurant specialising in dishes from the country. They have a wide selection of items in their menu, which makes it a bit difficult to choose because there are so many items. The food is of great quality and the portion is really big, well enough for two people. The staff are very friendly and the service is great.

It's a great experience to be here. We got all the Indian dishes we are trying to find in Africa. Person are very dedicated and well groomed to support. Food quality is great as I had different times. Thank a lot for all the courtesy.

Khana Khazana is a nice restaurant with green ambience. I Tried Mango Lassi, Hydrabadi Polao and Masala Tea. All were tasty. This Hydrabadi Polao with Chicken and Mutton tasted different in a position way. I don't have not much idea of other menus but am pretty satisfied with my order. Have seen a number of Indian Restaurants in Kigali and will try some other time In Shaa Allah.

Excellent indian restaurant ! Pleasant atmosphere, free wifi, parking inside and out in the street with an askari at the entrance. Jeera rice 3300, paneer butter masala 8500, chicken spinach (pahadi kebab) 8500, cheese garlic naan 4500. Simply delicious!

So good and such a great price. Why better than heaven around the corner. No weird flavors. Actually tastes authentic and American. No sneaking in veggies to stretch a dish like at Soy. I will be back many times. And awesome customer service.

I just ate here and had to write a review because it was the best food I had in Kigali. The chutneys were amazing specially the tamarind. I had the tree tomato yoghurt smoothie, their version of lassi, which was sour and sweet so savoury. I started with the tomathar ka shorba (tomato soup) and had the mutton mughlai, both fantastic. Usually in Rwanda food can take over two hours to be ready, but they were good with times. There was a small mix up with the bill and was quickly corrected.

One of the best Indian restaurants in Kiyovu Kigali loved by expats and locals alike. I went at around 3:30 on a normal weekday and it was not crowded at all. The place is clean and serene. Staff are friendly and the price is acceptable considering the high end location the restaurant is situated at, the good quality and big portions of the plates. I have seen many taking away their leftovers home. I had butter chicken curry (it is known by another name in the restaurant), steamed rice and garlic nan. Like most Indian restaurants they have a huge selection of dishes to choose from. I have noticed the starter menu only has about 74 different items 🤔 ... this may not be surprising taking into account the extreme diversity of food and culture in every province, region and neighbourhood in India though. Vegetarian options are available from starters to mains. They have a rich desert and drinks menu as well. As the food is pre-prepared, the plating process doesn't normally take much time and this works for you especially if you were hungry. By the way they also do free delivery. Overall I enjoyed my experience at the restaurant and would recommend it to Indian food lovers in Rwanda and those visiting from elsewhere. They have some Chinese food items as well. Parking is available within the compound and outside.

What a surprise to find this Indian place in Kigali. It was walkable distance from Marriott. We liked it enough first time that we went their again after end of our trip. . They also had a good selection of Indo Chinese which we loved. Chicken Hakka Noodle and Chilly Chicken was our favorite. Their Gulab jamun was warm and tasty. Hostess was wearing a green saree. Do visit it if you are in Kigali.

This is one of the best Indian restaurants I've been to, and I've traveled a lot. But definitely recommend it for your typical curries and associated fixings. The service is always fast and very professional as well.

Food and service are amazing! The restaurant is kind of posh but prizes are still affordable. In the pictures I marked two dishes that I ordered that were simply delicious. But be careful, spicy is really really spicy!

Best Indian food I’ve had in a long time. I got chicken mughlai and steamed rice and it was very nice. Their fresh fruit mango juice was really good too and it was real mango! My bill was 18,000 Rwanda francs for chicken , rice and mango juice.

The atmosphere was fantastic. Our waitress, Cynthia was so kind and helpful. We were a table of 5 and we ordered quite a bit of food. This was like Indian food with an African twist. It was delicious! The desserts were really nice as well. I highly recommend having a dinner here!

Quite tasty Indian dishes. The tandoori chicken was delicious, as was the mixed grill and the Lamb Rogan Josh. The garlic naan had an overpowering taste so i wouldn't recommend it unless that's something you like.

I got take-away and the food was delicious! The curries were very flavorful, and I really liked the murgh methi and mutton mughlai. My friend from India was particularly impressed by the authenticity of the murgh methi. I also thought the tandoori chicken was cooked well and still juicy. The biryani was decent. The naans (plain, garlic, pizza, and onion-stuffed) were all solid, but not particularly amazing.

An excellent restaurant! I was overwhelming. The food was fantastic and lovingly presented, the restaurant beautiful, the service first class. Just seeing a staff member carefully place vases of fresh roses on the tables was a pleasure for me.

We stopped by during the East Africa trip. This was the best food we had in this trip. Very reasonable and authentic taste. Portion is reasonable too (I live in the US). We requested the spicy level to be between mild and medium spicy and they made it perfectly. Quiet atmosphere but not too fancy in a good way. Everyone should check this place out. We ordered chicken Tribatti and chicken korma.

The food is standard. I can't complain about the quality. However, the price is punishing by my standards. And even maybe this is subjective. An average northern indian dish will set you back at about 12,000. I am glad I didn't bear the bill this time. The place is not packed for lunch. I guess it's premium in that sense.
