The nicest restaurant in Kigali. Beautiful interior, lovely flowers on the tables and they light a candle for you. They do not have any vegan options on the menu, but they sent out the chef to discuss what to cook for me. They brought me pastry as an entree and made sure it was vegan. So the service was very good. The vegan food they made for me was ok, but not great. I wanted to eat the pineapple from the glass of my cocktail, but when I tasted it, I realized that it was not fresh. The restaurant is located in a very nice place and there is a nice park right next to it with the best view of the colorful sphere of the Convention Center.

Having lived in Kigali for over a year, I'm almost ashamed to admit this was my first time to come here. Maybe it's because Filini is located in the Convention Center, a place not exactly famous for good restaurants. But, it is a good restaurant! Very good actually. We had pastas and a pizza, and they were all very good. I'm prepared to go as far as saying it's the best pizza in town! Service is also top notch in all ways possible. Friendly, quick and responsive to customer needs. Awesome! 👏 The ambience is also nice, in spite of the location which isn't the most "romantic" or fashionable of places. Convention Centre is otherwise thought of as... well, mostly the place for boring conventions .... Filini is great, we'll come back!

I ate here multiple times , I wanted just plain food and they were very accommodating. The food is good quality and the staff is friendly. I liked the ambience in the restaurant too. Italian restaurant located in the Radisson Blu hotel in Kigali. The restaurant mainly offers a cuisine adapted to fresh local products while keeping the know-how of Italian cuisine. There is a bit of everything. The setting is very nice. The staff is very kind. Prices are quite affordable. I was there several times and always so tasty.

The location was top class and the the ambience was welcoming and comfortable at the same. The meals we had were excellent.

Unfortunately we were so disappointed about the quality of the pizza that we ate. First of all the dough of the pizza and its base is pre-maid. It was goodly cooked but the taste of so-called “mozzarella” cheese was just awful! Something very salty, with a taste of mixed melted different cheeses (strong like gruyere, raclette or fondue! You can see “half-yellow colored cheese in pictures). I could just forced myself to eat 2 slices and I stopped! My wife’s risotto was ok. When we complained about the pizza the chef and the manager came to apologize. They offered us a tiramisu (it was so so sweetened so we couldn’t eat again!). When we were waiting for the bill, a very strong burned fat smoke came from the kitchen (our dresses are still smelling burned fat!) which means kitchen aeration is bad… And on top of it, they have charged us the pizza that we complained and we haven’t eat… to resume; beware this restaurant if you don’t want your dinner to be ruined.

We didn’t need to make a reservation, we walked in. We asked to be seated outdoors, and it was perfect. Every single meal we ordered was delicious! From the appetisers to the mains - chefs kiss 🤌🏾✨ I had the Lamb chops with a side of mashed potatoes. My date had Pasta and asked the chef to make it spicy. We didn’t appreciate the wait time, but good things take time 😄.

Filini I would consider as the best italian restaurant in Kigali. The menu offers tradtional italian dishes- off course including pizza and pasta.. However - you have to try the main courses. I have tried several, and the meat in every dish is sooo tender and tasty! You will also get great winepairing. The staff is friendly and serviceoriented. The restaurant is located in Kigali Convention Center and Radisson hotell.

Giving it three stars because the pizzas were delicious and reasonably priced. HOWEVER, every other dish we had were terrible . when I order beef steak, I expect a big chunk of perfectly cooked steak. Instead, what I got were pre sliced pieces of beef. The sauce was salty as hell. Chicken Milanese was cooked so much that it felt like a piece of dry, flavourless cardboard. KFC tastes better! Same for the jerk chicken. And the fries. Thrice fried, so you expect something amazing. What we got all around the table were soggy pieces of fries that were greasy. Quite disappointed. Would come again for the pizza though!

Beautiful designed Italian restaurant coupled with excellent service. The food is out of this world with a variety of options for any appetite. Everything is priced competitively to fit into a travelers budget. It’s in close proximity to the hotel and Kigali Convention centre.

Went for dinner. Wonderful staff, quick service and I was able to get a decent vegetarian meal. They make pizza as you see. I'll get the pizza the next time I visit.

Went for a girl night out with my young ladies. Everything was very authentic. Pizza and lasagna was well done. The service was outstanding and they were extremely friendly and courteous. The food arrived in a timely fashion which is rare for most Kigali restaurants.🙈 Atmosphere, decor and ambiance was top notch. Highly recommended.

Reasonably priced Italian food! Wait staff are friendly. Restaurant staff sang and brought out a tiramisu cake with a big candle and writing on the plate for my friend’s birthday. Overall very pleasant experience at Filini!

Super Slow!!! The place is nice and the food is good, but if you go there be ready to wait. A starter (bruschetta) takes around 40 minutes. Main food, even more.

Ate here 3 times in a 5 night stay. Was not disappointed. If fact we ordered pizzes to-go to take on the plane. You must try the Beef bologniase and the Ribeye that's imported. Have the whipped Irish potatoes and gravy. Superb! Also, if you get Rose as your Server, consider yourself lucky! She is wonderful.
