A gem at the rooftop of the Kigali Public Library. The atmosphere and views are breathtaking. There are spaces for studying/reading, networking, meetings, lectures/trainings and events. Their coffee and cocktails are as good too. I will visit again

This is the best working coffee shop in the world. Spacious & contemporary, food is good (best guacamole I've tasted outside of Mexico). Great view, great breezes, great coffee, great music. It's on top of a library!

The cafe has amazing views, the cooking is outstanding, the smoothies are real good. It is very expensive, especially for locals. But if you're a tourist, you should definitely visit!

Shokola is located in the same territory of National Library, the entrance is located just close to parking area, It contains also Rwanda Chess Federation activities in the same place, The place is silent and relax, one of the best place with beautiful view of city, I highly recommend Lemonade with fresh mint! Coffees also good as per friend’s recommendation, Close to US Embassy and National Police HQ at Kacyiru,

I don't even know where to begin describing my experience: the cool mood, the amazing ambiance, the delicious plantain and peanut chicken, the cosy seating with a cup of mocha while the rain pounded outside...? Would definitely recommend it over and over again and not just because they didn't charge me for the additional plate of plantain. Can't wait to go back!!!

THE GOOD - the vibe in this place is perfect for a long lunch/brunch. I mean, great music playing, comfy seating, panoramic views and delicious food. THE NOT SO GOOD - the wait staff don't know the menu well enough, therefore placing an order (especially if you need to change something) requires some patience. COST - Prices are reasonable Please note, they do not serve any alcohol.

This is my favorite spot in all of Kigali! The ambiance is airy, relaxed, and cozy. The balcony seats provide a remarkable view of Kigali while the inside seating surrounds you with books and artwork. I read, sipped on delicious, freshly made hot tea, and enjoyed a delicious, healthy lunch. I felt pampered by the warm, welcoming hospitality of the servers. I could live here!

Order takes more than one hour to be served even when there the cafe is near to empty. Not recommended unless you are planning to spend the day here. Food is fairly good but not worth the wait.

Cozy Cafe full of plants on the rooftop of Kigali public library. The food is good, but the fresh juices and smoothies are even better. It's the perfect place to work remotely because it is quiet and full of plugs to recharge your laptop or any other electronic device. The Wifi connection isn't the best especially when the place is crowded. However, the staff is nice and friendly. P.s. Special thanks to Emi who was really attentive and kind to me.

Gorgeous atmosphere! The pastry options are a bit limited and were slightly dry when I've visited, but overall it's a pleasant experience for meeting a colleague or getting some work done in a beautiful setting.

Best Rooftop Cafe in Kigali for coffee, tea, smoothies, fresh juices, mocktails, breakfast, paninis, salads, and other delicious offerings. Up the stairs in the back corner of the library all the way up to the rooftop for great views with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

Lovely space on the top floor of the library building. Plenty outlets, beautiful views and indoor/outdoor seating. And to top it off the food and beverages are delicious. I recommend the Fish Brouchettes.

Their service is outstanding. However, they didn't have vanilla or Carmel flavoured beverages available. But I experienced something similar at another cafe this week. Assuming that it's a common deficit.

Shokola Cafe' is one of the best places to eat. The food is not only healthy, it is delicious! You will not be disappointed with the food here. It is always very good and always hot. You can tell that they take pride in the food that they serve. Other restaurants should take note. This is how you cook and serve good food!

Shokola's Rooftop cafe offers magnificent views and to ads on to that it serves great coffee. One of it's under appreciated drinks is the Green Juice which will leave you feeling cleansed from the first sip down to the last drop. With friendly staff, access to WiFi and a cool breeze throughout, Shokola has truly become a favourite.

We arrived Saturday morning at 8:00am and we are the only customers here and we placed our order. It is now 9:00am still no food, employees are all on their phones...it's a pretty frustrating experience.

Perfect spot and very good environment with a nice view. We had a good time today at this facility, the food and drinks were on time and everybody satisfied with the services.
