I
went
to
meet
a
couple
of
friends
here
one
night.
I'd
heard
about
it,
but
never
been
before.
First
off
-
it's
really
hard
to
find.
I
followed
GPS
on
Google
Maps
and
ended
up
outside
Papyrus,
which
is
completely
the
wrong
end
of
town.
It's
down
a
very
long,
dirt
track
down
from
the
American
Embassy.
You
might
get
a
moto
there,
but
getting
one
back's
a
little
tricky.
Best
to
go
with
other
people
so
you
can
walk
back
together,
or
summon
a
SafeMoto.
The
place
itself
is
nice.
There
was
a
bonfire,
some
(slightly
chewy)
brochettes
and
beer
available.
I'm
giving
all
the
stars
for
the
atmosphere.
Plenty
of
energy
put
into
traditional
drumming
and
dancing.
It
was
more
locals
getting
up
to
strut
their
stuff
than
an
organised
display,
which
was
fun.
Definitely
felt
like
more
of
a
local
place
to
hang
out
than
something
specifically
designed
for
tourists,
so
if
you'd
like
to
experience
back
street
Kigali,
this
is
the
place.
From
a
woman's
perspective
-
more
bathrooms
needed.
My
friend
and
I
crossed
our
legs
for
a
while
and
might
have
stayed
longer
had
we
not
needed
to
leave
in
search
of
an
unoccupied
loo.
There's
some
funky
artwork
to
look
at
whilst
you
wait,
though.
Some
talented
local
artists
working
mostly
in
paint
and
a
few
other
mediums.
