The food here is exceptional! I savored a delicious meal of white rice, fish pepper soup, and plantain. After enduring bland dishes elsewhere, this flavorful experience was truly satisfying. Nigerians and Indians would adore this place. The staff is friendly, although my order took 30 minutes to arrive. Yet, when it did, it was absolutely worth the wait.

I rated this place 3 star because of the waiting time. It’s ridiculous. The place is nice and cozy however why should I spend so much time to eat when I am genuinely hunger. The wait time was frustrating and I think the reason is simply because the seemed understaffed compare to the numbers of patronage the have to deal with The food was delicious and I enjoyed every bit. There is also a little area from children to run around. It’s a lovely place. If you intend visiting the place to dine, I would recommend you book ahead to avoid waiting for so long.

I visited briefly on less familiar hours (morning)! In fact, we were only 3 customers in the place... the waitress was lovely but can't say more about the service until I visit the 2nd and 3rd times.

I had jollof rice when I came here. Their food tastes great and the portions are a lot for someone with a small stomach space, lol. The food was 12,000 Rwanda francs, takeaway pack is 500 and the bottle of sprite I had was 1,500. I spent a total of 14k

I visit and order from here every time I'm in Kigali. Good Nigerian food, good atmosphere, good customer service. I've had both good and bad experiences with these guys but generally, I'm give them 4X.

It's a nice spot that has an outdoor and indoor sitting. If you want to connect, have a special time with someone or hangout with a group of friends, this is your spot. The prices are moderate and the meals were tasty. The jollof didn't make the list though but presentation is cool. I would recommend. They also have a fine selection of red wine.

Great place for Nigerians In kigali to connect. Friendly owner as well. Food slightly pricey but great, portions of swallow are on the small side so it’s advisable to request additional portions. Great place all round. Would recommend.

Food was not fresh at all it tasted like freezer food. I requested for plantain Amala what I got looks like wheat Amala. My husband and I requested for okro seafood, and it was tasteless. That chef needs to be retrained. We left the food. We were so hungry that the place came recommended to us. We were visiting Kigali. The service was very slow. It took a long time to get our drinks. Someone was there who seemed to us like he owned the place. He had apologized to us about the electricity acting up. Overall, the environment looks awesome. TV was on sports. No music. But the place looks clean and well laid out.

We had a pleasant experience at Jollof Kigali, Pounded Yam, though poundo yam was served, with Ogbolo Soup, Efo Riro, Pepper Soup, Jollof Rice and a chill drink. We were all satisfied we had to visit the next day. The wait time was not bad, but I think it can be better. The Waiter, Burundian was equally pleasant and ensured we were satisfied. Keep the good job and all the best.

I was thrilled to find authentic Nigerian food in Kigali. Every meal I ate was a hit. The jollof rice tasted so great, I felt like home. An area that needs improvement is service delivery, it takes close to an hour before the food gets served after placing an order. There is a reason for mise-en-place in the food service industry. The taste of that jollof is better than some I’ve had in Nigeria. The chicken wings were delicious too. I was surprised to see Amstel beer 😂. Great taste.

A set of Nigerian meals served. The time to production can be optimised. The daytime atmosphere was calm.

I’ve actually experienced the best swift services with best of real Nigerian taste of meals. The music at the background of the venue would actually make you want to stay longer. Furthermore, it’s the best in Kigali when it comes to meals and services at top notch💯

Meal is just like home away from home. Well service and customised to my teams taste as some wanted spicy egusi soup and some wanted not spiced, we got it to our demand. Customer service was top-notch; it was about the people & good management team.

This took me back home and the food were nice. I'm from Nigeria and I had a good meal here. It was worth every francs charged.

The pepper soup was 10/10. Would definitely recommend. Best deal is to get a couple meal and share if possible. Loved the jollof rice as well. Vibe has an easy feel to it with occasional nice afrobeat music.

I really wanted Nigerian food and I went to Jollof Kigali and was amazed at the service. It did take a little long but the food when it came was delicious. I had pounded yam and efo. Will definitely come back!

Worst ordering experience in my entire life. Food took 3 hours to get to me, when it did, it was very cold. Called to get updates during the delays and the representative stopped answering my calls until I called with a different number. When that happened, I asked for the managers number so I could understand what happened and she said she doesn’t have it, and told me to cancel my order if I have a problem. I don’t recommend anyone ordering from here. I have never interacted with anyone so unbothered about their customer service

Delicious Nigerian meals served here will make any visiting Nigerian feel at home. You would love the okro, egusi, efo, ogbono and ofcourse jollof, fried and stewed rice served here. You will be treated with some cool music mainly from Nigeria and that brings you closer home. The walls have posters of all Nigerian states and their capitals so you can call this Nigeria in Kigali. The only minus is that they are often overwhelmed by large crowd of people waiting to be served. So, there is need to think of expansion.

First things first , this is the only facility in Rwanda where there’s no wifi. In a city where many are tourists and visitors. One of the waiters had to help some other guests with internet. I’ll update my review when my food arrives. I Ordered pounded yam and ogbono So update on my order , the food was great , spicy just like you’d get it at home. The goat meat was on point too. Y

I was served wings that had gone off! The assorted meat was not fresh and nothing like Nigerian recipe! The chicken they claim to be says was oven cooked and not charcoal healed! The only thing they have going is the jollof rice!

This is one of best place to find local African food, especially if came from Nigeria. It is also popularly called Nigerian restaurant in Kigali. It is located some kilometers from Kigali international airport. Their pricing is also something that you can appreciate

The staff were friendly and the food was great, full of flavour and spice, although 1 of the chicken wings didn't seem right. Sadly I was really poorly the following day. My colleages were fine though.

Don’t even bother. It took 1 and a half hours to receive Jollof rice at a restaurant called Jollof King 😂 The staff were unhelpful and while we were there multiple people walked out because of how long their food was taking. The food & drinks are super overpriced. We had to just leave in the end.

First of all I salute the ingenuity of the business owner. Few years ago, there was no place to get any Nigerian meal across Rwanda. It's really a welcome development. Your service isn't also bad but work on the waiting time to get food served. Also there was something remarkable that happened the last time I was there. My guests placed their orders while I requested for Yamachuma, a local goat minced meat which I was told they don't serve. Since I wanted that and while we waited for the long awaited order for my guests, I decided to order mine from the next door restaurant so that it all get ready at the same time and we can all have our lunch together. How've, the waiters of jollof Kigali found that offensive. It wasn't that I ordered for what you had in your menu. I had a choice of going to the other restaurant altogether with my guests but I decided to stay with you and use one waiting time to order for only one meal next door so I could eat together and at the same time with my guests in your restaurant. Anyways, in order not to go and start another round of waiting for my order after leaving this one, I had to leave my guests to have my meal separately. Some waiting in your restaurant and myself going next door to have my lunch. Wasn't really a nice experience. Perhaps a bit of flexibility is good for your customers. In all, I still appreciate that we have a Nigerian restaurant in Kigali. Good job guys. It can only get better for sure.

There food is So nice. If you don't have a big stomach, you can't finish a plate of their food at a go.

This is a great Nigerian or African food restaurant. Let them know how spicy you want your food. I had Jollof rice with gucken and it was the best 😀

I walked into this place excitedly just for the idea of a Nigerian restaurant near my hotel. I was told the placed was filled up and since I didn't have a reservation, I could come back later in the evening. I opted to do 'take away' and they obliged. I placed the order at about 3.44pm. The waiter told me it would take 30mins. I had a meeting for 4.30pm. Afrer 30 mins the waiter said my order wasn't ready. I paid for the food and delivery to my hotel which was about 5mins away. To cut the long story short, I got my order at about 7.20pm. That was after repeated calls and WhatsApp messages spanning an hour. By the way, the order arrived without any spoon or fork! It would be unfortunate if terrible service kills this great idea.
