I understand that this park has recently opened and what a gift to Kigali! There are two car parks (not huge) but the rest of the park is much bigger than we expected (with a pretty cafe). The well-established trails are mostly paved, with a beautiful path through canopies of bamboo trees (perfect for a hot day). I'd suggest to the park managers to partner with Guraride bicycle rentals which would help people to enjoy the park even more! Looking forward to visiting again soon!

Great park! You can walk, you can rent a bike and a scooter. There are a lot of birds here, you can watch them. There is a cafe where you can eat and drink coffee. There are also good clean toilets.

Wonderful amenity on our doorstep. The kids brought their scooters and we spent two happy hours exploring the park and enjoying the outdoors and nature. Free entrance, plenty of parking, excellent toilet facilities at the entrance, well-paved routes for cyclists and walkers and a very nice cafe on site. Some of the route is shaded and some not, so we were happy to have our hats and sun screen.

It seems to be a really nice Parc to relax and to walk around or to go for a bike ride. You can see how much effort they put in it. Unfortunately the Parc isn't open although they first said it will open in December and now they announced it will open in beginning of February. But when I went there it was still closed and the security people also didn't know why it is closed and when it will open. The Restaurant has nice seating areas and offers a good view but the menu is not that big and it offers only cold snacks. Many drinks on the Menu where not available when ordering. The service is also not very pleasant and I didn't feel very welcomed there.

Beautiful scenery with melodic sounds of nature to boot. You can really seat still here and hear yourself think with stunning views for your memory. Loved it

I visited the park yesterday (Sunday) just a week after it was commissioned. It is a serene and beautiful park. An excellent place for lovers of nature, families and love birds. It is peaceful. Also, it is a great for picnics. The chicken sandwich, croissant, pain au chocolat and mango smoothie at the restaurant is a must have. I recommend 100% If you are visiting Kigali, add this to your list of places to visit.

Nice place with beautiful scenarios and paved ways for walking and biking. However, they have not been allowing people to go in for the past 1.5 months with no specific reason and no mention of when it will re-open.

Amazing locale for birdwatching, but also for a stroll, a short run or just to hang out for s while. They also have a Bourbon coffee shop that offers great coffee and one if the better croissants I've had in Kigali

Peaceful space to reminisce about life or exercise or bird watch or ride your bicycle or read your favorite book or enjoy nature in a safe zone. I would recommend anyone visiting to cover their skin, especially early in the morning or late afternoon cause bugs love nature too hahah.

Even one star is too much but without it is not possible to post! The park may not be visited. Despite publicity it is not yet open awaiting inauguration !!! First time I tried to visit in December 2021! On 05.06.2022 I wanted again to avail of fresh air, but two (2) guards came and forced me out! This is the sad truth.

Add it on your to go places while in Kigali. I did cycling but you can also walk or jog- they are separate trails so do not worry. Trails are paved and well demarcated. I recommend a week day as it gets busier on weekends.

Nyandungu is a massive restoration and conservation effort of 126 hectares of wetland in Kigali. Peaceful habitat to hundreds of species of birds, it offers a quiet time with nature in the heart of an amazing city.

It’s cool space to think or just walk with someone. It’s really clean but if you don’t like walking it’s better to take a bike because it’s an huge area.

Natural beauty at its best. Enjoyed it best in the morning before the traffic sounds became loud.

A good place to spend time in Kigali. A good restaurant with excellent coffee and pastries, inexpensive scooters and bicycles for hire and lots of lovely birds. Silver, a trained guide who works there is enthusiastic, helpful and knowledgeable. We visited three days in a row.

A must visit place. My visit was very insightful, loved the indigenous plants exhibit throughout the whole park. The biodiversity is astonishing, natural.

Waow! Warum liest man hierüber nichts?

We were here one Friday in July. It was an absolute delight. We enjoyed walking around and listening to/watching the birds. There were lots of beautiful butterflies as well. As a rollator user, I found the paths to be user friendly. The restaurant was equally accessible with a gentle ramp and wheelchair accessible toilet. We enjoyed our food. The restaurant staff were very polite.

Very nice place, nice walks, vrry peaceful, place is very clean, the signs for different plants, bushes and trees are great, but the way they are done it happens that the writing on the signs is fading away and difficult to read Kigali City should prepare more such areas, but they should be closer to the city centre

Beautiful park. Great ponds and lots of birds. Free entrance. If you are coming by car pay attention that the parking lot is placed else from this location. Go towards the nyandungu restaurant.

In love with nature, great place Feeling the need to jog in the morning, great place Enjoy bicycle riding, the best place in Kigali The price for refreshers is high compared to other places in Kigali but they allow you to bring your own refreshers. The missing part is Iriba water

Its a good place to take a walk or ride bikes (they have some available for rent) or sit at them cafe or in the park. However it’s still a work in progress and I found the signs in the park confusing
