Original Review from 2018: I rented a bike here back in 2018 for a few days and it was one of the best things I did in Rwanda (and I stayed for a year!). Vincent is a really nice guy who is trying to make you have the best experience possible. I didn't take a guided tour, but I can imagine he is a great guide. He gave me a lot of tips about good places to go, he definitely knows his country well! Rwanda itself is perfect for motorbiking. Plenty of nice curves, going up and down (amazing views!). A mix of perfect roads, and if you like also plenty of off road. As soon as I'm back to Rwanda, I'd love to do a tour again. I loved it. Update 2022: I came back to Rwanda with my wife recently and this time we did the tour together. Plenty of space for her in the seat behind me (she's not a small woman) and we even had a waterproof bag for clothes behind us. Kagabo was very helpful advicing us about the rain season and preparing us for it. It's definitely easier during dry season, but due to the high population density of Rwanda, you'll almost always find shelter early enough. Just expect to move slower as you'll be waiting sometimes for the rain to pass.

We had such an amazing tour for 3 days. Kagabo is such a cool dude who makes this an unique experience. He speaks perfect English. The bikes are great and kagabo helps with everything. The streets and hotels chosen are perfect. Would recommend it to everyone.

We had a great time with those 250cc. They ran smoothly. Instant support via WhatsApp. Great price. Convenient boxes and rain gear. Returned the bikes at the border with Uganda. I'd recommend them to anyone!

Excellent experience. The staff is very helping and supportive. The bikes are pretty good. Rwanda is one of the best countries for bike riding. I will definitely do it again.

Amazing tourguides! Trip was beautiful. To be able to enjoy the real Rwanda like this is unbelievable. The route they choose is a perfect build up from normal road to offroad through the hills and back like riding the winding roads in Italy. Beautiful views and silent nature.

Only good things to say about this company. Rented a motorcycle for a week and it went as smooth as can be. Everything was quick, easy and professional. Great communication. Perfect motorbike for the job. I had the 250cc which is perfect for a round trip, even if you sometimes take more challenging paths. Communication with the company is spot on, so are their tips about where to go and where to stay. The service to bring the back to your hotel and pick it up at the end of the trip was very much appreciated. Besides that, if you have a problem with the bike like a puncture, Mucyo helps you and if necessary will be with you in three hours, wherever you are on Rwanda. Thanks guys. Vincent was great - he will arrange a detailed tour for you but is equally happy just to give you a bike and gear and let you do your own thing, which was just what I wanted. He was punctual and well prepared for collection and return of the bike, and during the rental could be contacted easily with any questions. Amazing adventure across Rwanda! Vincent coordinated a 4 day drip in just one days notice! The 200cc bikes were plenty for our route which was 50 % paved road and 50% dirt. I’m an experienced rider who has traveled across the world doing mototrips - this was one of the best. Vincent put a lot of effort into ensuring I had a great and memorable experience. I will be back.

Today I had the best motorbike trip experience ever! Seeing Rwanda, while driving on the motorbike following Vincent was a mega experience. The combination of paved and unpaved roads was great. Vincent has a great route along beautiful lakes, mountains and volcanoes and small villages giving an unforgettable experience. Thank you once again for the fantastic day Vincent. I would recommend this guided tour to everyone! Hopefully I will be back soon to try another route.

I used Motorbiking Rwanda Tours and Rentals over the last week during my stay in Rwanda and they were amazing! I rented a bike for a week and rode up to Volcanoes National Park and back for gorilla trekking. At Vincent’s recommendation I also did some off-roading to Lake Muhazi following the Google Maps route provided. The rest of the week I did various trips in and around Kigali. Vincent provides drop off and pick up service, to hotels/guest houses or residences, and will include helmet and safety gear as needed. He is available via WhatsApp at all times during your stay for consultation and/or support. This is an amazing way to take in Rwanda as it has amazing roads, relatively low speed limits and a reasonably good driving culture making it a safe bet for beginners through to advanced riders. The scenery is simply incredible in the land of a thousand hills. I will definitely endeavor to do it again someday! This company provides outstanding customer service for a very reasonable price. Highly recommended!

Amazing time with Vincent and his team. It was my first time on a motorcycle trip and they accommodated me to ensure I felt comfortable riding. These guys know what they’re doing and go above and beyond for their clients.

Reserving a bike and pickup was easy and fair. The bike worked well and enabled a great trip to the twin lakes! The bikes could do with more power, but I was happy enough as a single rider.

Great experience. Vincent is an extraordinary guide. He customized our tour and was very flexible on the routes. His master mechanic Muycho was able to quickly resolve any problems and we visited many places that you just couldn't find by yourself. Ruanda maybe one of the best countries for biking. You have beautiful curvy roads but also many adventures trails on which you can train you off-road skills. I can recommend this country for every passionated biker that is ready for a new culture and a exiting time on the bike!

The land of a thousand hills offers the best conditions for a motorcycle tour. Whether far from paved roads past coffee and banana plantations with the wonderful view of lake kivu or on paved roads through the colorful landscape. I could not get out of the amazement and can only recommend the motorcycles.

We were 5 riders, did the 3 days motorcycle trip around Rwanda, starting from Gisenyi to Kibuye, Nyungwe Forest, Huye and Kigali. Vincent's bikes were in perfect condition. There were no breakdowns except for a minor issue with one of the bikes upon reaching Kibuye. We informed Vincent and he was there early morning with another bike. That was excellent service. Thank you Vincent for the great service and all the advices you provided for our successful and wonderful trip. We will surely come back for another trip.

What an awesome experience, and Vincent is a great dude! In 8 days I saw the highlights of Rwanda and met some wonderful people. Definitely an experience of a lifetime and highly recommended! Rwanda itself seems to be made for bikers. Tons of twisty roads, and all the paved ones are in great condition. Safe with low corruption, it offers little hassle and maximum experience.
