Located
on
the
7th
floor
of
Hotel
Isimbi
,
Bicu
is
a
charming
rooftop
lounge
in
the
heart
of
the
city
that
really
shines
in
terms
of
the
view.
You
can
see
much
of
Kigali
city
from
the
large
windows
that
surround
you
on
all
sides!
The
windows
are
closed
when
it
rains
but
are
left
completely
open
during
good
weather,
giving
al
fresco
vibes
to
the
the
relaxed
ambiance
of
the
place.
The
dining
room,
bar
and
restrooms
were
clean
and
well-
maintained.
So
extra
points
there.
From
the
semi-open
kitchen
in
the
rear
of
the
lounge,
I
could
see
the
chef
freshly
preparing
my
food
and
it
did
not
disappoint.
My
brochettes
were
a
little
overcooked
but
this
is
typical
of
local
preferences.
I
should
have
told
them
how
I
wanted
my
meat
cooked
;)
Bicu
had
a
catchy
playlist
coming
from
a
good
sound
system
and
a
large
HD-TV
which
was
tuned
to
the
World
Cup.
This
was
a
nice
touch
as
I
enjoyed
my
meal.
Bicu
also
shines
in
terms
of
service.
From
the
reception
staff
downstairs,
to
my
server
upstairs,
everyone
was
very
courteous
and
attentive
to
my
requests
and
ensuring
that
I
was
satisfied
at
all
times.
The
menu
offers
quite
an
appetizing
selection
of
in-house
crafted
cocktails,
mocktails
and
teas
but,
alas,
I
found
the
price
point
to
be
high
so
I
didn't
try
any.
Overall,
very
happy
with
my
experience
and
would
return.
It
was
pricy
but
the
view
was
A1.
Maybe
I'll
try
a
drink
next
time.
