If you need to go to a couple of long distance destinations in both Rwanda and out of Rwanda you can catch a bus from here. To places in Rwanda like Musanze, Gisenyi, Mukoto, Huye, Muhanga, Nyanza, and many others. There are also buses for city service to different parts of the city like Kiminronko, Kicukiro etc. If you can to go to Kampala, Rusumo you can catch a bus from here as well. Some of the bus companies in this park are; For Domestic Routes in Rwanda; 1. Volcano 2. Ritco 3. Horizon 4. Virunga 5. International express 6. Kigali bus etc Cross Border Buses at the park are; 1. Modern Coast to Kenya via Kampala Uganda 2. Trinity Express to South Sudan Juba thru Kampala 3. Volcano to Kampala If you have not gotten a Covid jab, you can get it from this bus park as well. It is a very easy process. I had received both jabs in Kenya but took a booster shot here and as a foreigner I found it very easy and honest process. You only print your Covid Certificate, then give it to them. Produce your ID/Passport. They fill another form with your details. They also give you a small card to show you have been vaxxed. Then you receive the jab. You can print your Covid Certificate online using the Unique ID they give you.

Nyabugogo Bus parking is the largest bus park in Rwanda. It's located in city of Kigali, Nyarugenge district. It is a region where many people gather either to look for transport or bypass there to reach to other different parts of the country. Over 10k people pass there daily. It connects Rwanda to it's neighboring countries like Uganda, Tanzania, Burundi and DR Congo where you can exit from Nyabugogo to those countries or inter into Rwanda through there.

Not to congested, so it's fine for someone who does love congestion i suggest however that there be put some waiting areas, sign posts and more than just one toilet.

Scalpers purchase ALL the bus tickets and resale them to the public at extortionate prices. Hawkers hustling everything from snacks to shoes through the crowd. A cacophony of chaotic activity.

It is a huge bus station with buses that circulate Kigali and whole country side. There is many many transport agencies and timed departures. Also there is small markets within the bus station compound that have affordable price

It's ok. Several bus agencies travelling to several cities in and out of Rwanda. The aspect that is worth paying attention to is the presence of thieves out of the station at all hours of the day and night, especially around the petrol station opposite the main entrance to the Bus Park. As such, travellers need to exercise extra caution when they get to the station.

The place seems to be shabby due to a lot of vehicles disordered, but lucky there are a lot of guides to direct you wherever you are going. There are as many different buses as possible heading to all other four directions on Rwanda and even in the other different countries of Africa especially in the East African Community. There are a lot of shops to buy whatever you want and the place is located in the center of the city to reach many social services at just a glance.

Nyabugogo bus park is just one main bus park in Rwanda connecting each region of Rwanda. From there, person can apply for a bus ticket to travel anywhere in this country and even beyond that, you can travel to outside of this country via bus lines which have this travels in their services. The station is packed, On busy days there is the lack of buses which makes it less offering. The fact that the station does not offer online reservations and does not increase the buses to transport people reduces the success of the station and there is also lack of security and non standardised foods and beverages sale.

This bus stop in situated at a low leveled ground. Between high hills and a nearby river the place is subject to floods. The city is busy in construction or expansion of drainage channels. The place will be also subject to land filling, flood proofing, house raising, removing of some constructions in order to enhance its resistance against floods in heavy rainy seasons. Lots of improvements to be done here in order to experience excellence and satisfaction (I heard about a plan of a reconstruction of the whole place) : The rest rooms are really not enough. The amount of people who transit to that place is quite enormous therefore in my opinion it will not be easy to keep the current rest rooms in good condition and clean. The surroundings are generally safe and clean. Lacks of queue management system where a set of tools and sub-systems could be placed in order to assist Nyabugogo bus field agents efficiency to control the customers' flow, managing the waiting time (sometimes you can wait up to 2hours waiting buses) and enhancing customers' experience. - Waiting time to be shown - Set a waiting area and other services to be available while waiting. People are getting more and more accustomed in jumping lines and creating an unsafe environment for elderly people or pregnant women, providing a really bad experience to customers. - Creating a self check in system for the protections of the first come first served system. - Enhance the general service excellence through customers need assessment and data analysis.

The timing is tough if your ticket is for 8h00, you cannot show up at 8h03min and expect to get your bus

It is a good place, but you have to be on the lookout because thieves are almost everywhere, the good news is that police is always ready to intervene whenever needed. The noise of loudspeakers is so loud that you sometimes have to shout to talk to someone. Wheelchairs can easily access this place. Its location is ideal for trips to the four corners of the country and even abroad if you are to take a bus.
