Very welcoming! Friendly staff and nice owner. The room was simple but very clean and comfortable. The main room was well decorated and the grounds were amazing. A big garden with fruit trees, birds and a coffee plantation. Go down to the beach for a swim, it’s sandy and secluded. Breakfast is included and comes with lots of fruit, eggs, bread and coffee. Dinner was also good. Definitely a nice and cozy place to stay.

Nice location! Very nice resting place after a long hike on the Congo Nile Trail. Great breakfast, clean and spacious rooms, hot water! Dinner was very basic. Also there is no phone connection here.

Wonderful place. Staff is very nice and the rooms are clean. The only thing that was not good for me was the bad, very uncomfortable. For the rest we enjoyed a lot the night spent here. They have a paradisiac beach side where you can peacefully take a bath in the lake or maybe have a nap in the hammock. The owner was so kind he took us to take a visit in his wonderful garden and in his coffee washing station. The food was great!

A good place to spend the night and grab a bite. I found The food a little bit overpriced

The hotel, and Kinunu in general, are so beuatiful and relaxing. I only stayed one night while walking the Congo-Nile trail but it would be very nice to spend several days here and do some of the many activities offered. Price is higher than the average Congo-Nile accommodation, but it's fair for what you get.

Excellent coffee tour and tasting with Kevine. It took about 1.5 hours to get a history of coffee in Rwanda and learn about the different stages. Even in off season we were able to see the beans but best months are sept-dec and feb-may. We also got a delicious lunch. The rooms looked very nice although we didn't stay here.

This was our first stop bike packing the Congo Nile Trail. We camped on the lawn right on Lake Kivu. We swam in lake and had our morning coffee with a spectacular view. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food was also well priced and delicious. If you have the time, consider doing a tour of the coffee washing station.

We slept in the apartment, there was no hot water and even the water ended quickly, we couldn't take shower.
