I rarely review businesses other than restaurants, however having spent the last 8 weeks with the staff at Athletico at Palatine North for physical therapy following a total knee replacement, I felt compelled to let others know of my experience. They say first impressions are lasting, and from the moment I pushed my walker into the facility, I knew this was going to be a good experience. My primary therapist, Arc, greeted me like a long lost relative. He instantly made me feel comfortable with his friendly, caring and compassionate approach. He laid out the rehab plan and set goals right from the start. He pushed and motivated me during every session which helped me gain the flexibility and range of motion of my knee that exceeded my Surgeon’s expectations. Right knee rehab is not an easy process, but if you’re looking to achieve the maximum benefit from your surgery, and are willing to put in the hard work, the staff at Athletico PT will help you get there.

After receiving surgery on my ankle this summer, I came to Athletico at Midtown to begin rehab. Right away, my therapist (John😉) was very determined to work on my ankle until he thought it was strong enough to return to sports. Five months later, I am back to playing basketball and running with no pain. The staff has been super supportive and helpful throughout my recovery and I would definitely recommend going here for any type of PT.

I've been to Athletico in Palatine multiple times over the years, most recently 2020-21. The care I've received was outstanding every time. The facility is extremely clean, a variety of high quality equipment, and appointments are flexible, easy toschedule. All the staff have been friendly & helpful. The therapists fully assess your areas of concern and formulate a plan. They carefully listen to patient's goals, concerns, questions and provide clear explanations, instructions. Whether my therapy was post-op or injury recovery, I've always had improvement in symptoms by the last day of my treatment. There is no pressure to add unnecessary additional sessions. Throughout my treatment, I was provided with both verbal and printed instructions to perform exercises at home, if appropriate. Upon discharge, Athletico physical therapy empowers patients with the knowledge and skills to maintain the improvement they've acquired during therapy sessions.

The staff, especially the rehab aid (Kacy) and the patient experience coordinator (Raamiz) were very helpful and kind. The physical therapist (Arc) was also helpful and kind.

I highly recommend this Athletico facility. It’s easy to access off north Hicks road, reserved parking directly outside the front door for Athletico clients. I first used this facility in 2008 following a lower back fusion surgery and have since been a client for six additional surgeries, shoulders and knees through 2019. Professional and support staff is outstanding, they know their craft. They have great team work, after a week or two, everyone (physical therapist and support staff) will be calling you by your first name. They will work with you around scheduling times for your sessions, they are very flexible. They keep your doctors updated regularly. Following all seven surgeries I felt great success in what physical therapy accomplished for me to live a normal life. They are great!

Just finished 6 weeks of PT here for lower back / sciatica issues. I can not say enough positive things about my experience of my Physical Therapist, Bri or their PT program in general! Thank you, Athletico for taking me from unbearable pain to being able to sit, stand, sleep comfortably again. Words can’t express my gratitude. The entire staff is definitely top notch. Highly recommend this location for your PT needs.

I have been going to Athletico in Palatine for various issues I have had for years. Arc is extremely knowledgeable and has treated me with great care. Everyone there wants to see the patient improve and is always friendly. I have recommended this place to my friends and family.

The entire crew here is amazing. I receive informative, supportive and friendly care. Jessica is fully invested in my healing. Her genuine care boosts my own confidence in my ability to get better. Jessica and Brie are top-notch, as is Josh and the rest. I go out of my way to seek care from this facility even though there is one closer to my house. None of us want to go through PT. I've have go through it for a second/separate reason now, and I never considered another place to go. Well done!
