Golf starting up soon keep the faith . Remember pets and people not allowed on cart paths

As a member here am a little dissatisfied with being a member. There are never enough tee times for all the members as if you live in the community you must be a member which makes it so way to many members. The course is nice, but bunkers need work as almost no sand in majority of the bunkers. During all the rain, drainage has become a problem, which wouldn't think would be with how hilly it is. The course is not walker friendly, especially on back 9 and pace of play after the first 3 tee times is awful as every round that I have played that has not been one of the first tee times has been 4.5-5.5 hours which is just awful

I love this place, I have lived here most of my life. the golf course is very fun, I play with my dad almost every week in the summer. At the club restaurant the food is amazing but he last time I ate there the service was terrible I stayed there for 2 hours. The tennis courts are really cool, I love to have lessons at the court every year. My dad and I play paddle tennis a lot in the winter and there is food inside the paddle hut sometimes.

Looks like a nice place put the food was just ok the bar was not ready for 35 people they only had 1 bar tender, wait staff in the banquet hall was ok

As a guest I was treated with open arms. The staff here is super welcoming and the golf course was prestine even late October. Most definitely considering a membership with how i was treated.

Everything was so delicious, the brisket, turkey, kugal and then this down here! The flourless chocolate cake so soft it melts in your mouth kinda like a brownie without the crispy top😋.

Had a great time meeting members and hosts; that changed, however, when intoxicated members came in from the course and did not reframe from the use of horrible pejoratives, despite our young sons present. Aside from the aforementioned behavior, Club house is outstanding, food is decent, service was excellent, and membership rates are reasonable.

First time at this facility, for a group holiday luncheon. We had a choice of 3 different entrees and everyone I spoke with enjoyed their meal. Servers were attentive and pleasant. The clubhouse is attractive and was nicely decorated throughout for the holidays. The only negative: Our group's dining room required us to walk through the adjacent room (where another party was going on) to enter and depart. Inconvenient/awkward for us and, no doubt, a bit annoying/disruptive for that other group.

*** EDIT - GM reached out to not only explain, but also apologize & make this right. Changing from 2 stars to 5. Good on you Patrick! 👏🏼 Went for easter brunch. There were 3 times to choose from. We chose the 2:30pm slot. We got there with 3 kids, 4 adults - no meat was left. Grouper or Tilapia (can’t remember) was gone, and was highly disappointed. Definitely will be re-considering there for my brunch destinations moving forward.

We had our son’s 1st birthday party at HWCC and it was absolutely amazing! The staff was so friendly and helpful and our guests raved about the food. Lisa, the event coordinator, was wonderful to work with. She really takes pride and ownership in her job and focuses on all the details which made our party a success!
