I LOVED this place. As a native Texan, raised on the only soda there is, this museum was Awesome! There are three floors of Dr Pepper memorabilia. There is also a soda fountain and interactive workshops. The Make-a-Soda was very fun(do recommend buying advanced tickets for this and the Taste-a-Soda) The gift shop was great. You can take home everything from shirts, hats, and magnets to the original Dr Pepper itself. Also, every paid admission receives a free Dr Pepper or $1 off the floats.

Really well done museum with a complete history of Dr Pepper. The place is right next to the Silos in Waco making it very convenient for multiple experiences in one day. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only negatives were the tables in the malt shop were not cleaned regularly and the gift shop is over priced. However, if you are a fan of Dr Pepper, you will love the experience.

This place was pretty cool. Way more interesting than I thought it would be. It has the expected history, cans and bottles and old advertisements. But there's also flavor chemistry, manufacturing stuff, the flops like celery soda and new coke. Lots of reading, don't expect to be wowed by loud music and flashing lights. Ten bucks. 2 buildings.

A nice museum that exhibits the origin and the history of an alternate drink among the other familiar drinks ! Home of Dr.Pepper is a nice architectural piece. The museum store gives the choices for the souvenirs, and an on site quick bite restaurant with indigenous drink gives an opportunity to spend some time relaxing. No car parking in site. Paid lots and street parking are available nearby.

Excellent museum! Kids love Dr. Pepper and on our way to Dallas we stopped and it was awesome experience! Very neat to read and see the history of the drink, various photos, equipment, tools, first bottles and more! At the end tried the float and was tasty! Kids loved it! Recommended it!

LOVED the museum! So much to see and learn. The staff was great. The gift shop and soda fountain area was our favorite! The kids loved that they got to make their own soda and create new flavors! It was a great experience.

Love it!!! Definitely a great experience for a Dr.Pepper fan or really any soda fan! Did the taste testing and make your own soda exhibits that were so fun to do. Book in advance!! Great photo ops too and awesome gift shop. The virtual tour was kind of hard to follow and not really up to date with the museum, so it would be great if you could update it and not make it a video but audio only

Was a good museum. If your in the area stop. My 6 year old was a little bored but it's geared for older kids an adults. There is alot of reading an history that was interesting. It wasn't busy so it was nice to be able to browse an read without feeling like you had to keep moving. This is a self guided tour but it was good. You get a small soda with your entry. $10 for adults an $6 for kids.

Super Place to take a break from driving for a few hours. Much more to see and do than we expected. Try the Taste-a-soda... We got 0 right but had a great time with Gale anyway. My kids 16&14 actually enjoyed the whole place. Don't miss the Dr. Pepper floats. Seriously.... Don't miss them.

Very nice awesome experience. If you are a pepper, then you should go. It isn't big and yet not that small, but you can learn a thing or two about it. It's like a one-time visit, so it's inexpensive the entrance only thing I was there was very early when it barely opened and yet I didn't get a chance to do a coke on my own. They should have more tutors or 2 rooms at same time many people from different city's come probably to experience that and yet go home wanting to know that experience so yea i was dissapointed I went on a Saturday and yet another opening till Monday by that time I'm gone home to my city. 8 hours away.. and many others live further. And P.S Dr. PEPPER, can you please bring back that, Dr. PEPPER gum with the same ingredients as back then. Don't change it. But bring it back!.

Definitely an experience to share!!! There was a lot of information about the Dr. Pepper company, how it was made, where it came from and even where it is now. If you have an afternoon, Definitely check it out!!! Don't forget to get your free drink or dollar off of a float! (Which I recommend!)

Stopped in not knowing what to expect and got to learn not just the history of Dr. Pepper but already got to see the different packaging from around the world as well. The gift shop was clean and well stocked. The soda shop was great.

We were visiting Austin from Colorado. So we decided to visit The Dr Pepper Musuem in Waco 90 miles away, on a whim. I have loved Dr Pepper since my maternal grandparents in Kansas hooked me on it in the 70's. So glad we made the trip !

Fun little museum near magnolia market. Cool to see the history of Dr pepper and it's original bottling plant. Understand that it's a museum and there is a lot of walking and just exhibits of the history. It's cool to see to old tools, ads, bottles that make up the history.

This was a really neat place to visit. We loved the Make-a-Soda class. Some of the items in the gift shop are pretty expensive (a medium-sized puppy was $30) so beware, but overall, it was a cool experience for kids.

Really neat museum! We had no wait when we visited on a Sunday and at no point was our visit crowded. Learn about the history of Dr.Pepper and the history of Waco. One of our favorite displays was the actual well (you’ll see)! You’ll see videos, holograms, ads, bottles, equipment and so much more from over the years! Awesome educational or leisurely stop for all ages. They are a non-profit organization. They also have interactive add-on options as well. Fun gift shop and ice cream shop! We all got different flavored floats to end the day. So glad we made a visit!!

We honestly hit this up due the proximity to magnolia market. It was a cute hidden gem that does show a unique way of preserving the history of the Dr Pepper company. All of the antique signage and marketing pieces were great to look at. You won’t need to reserve admission tickets in advance but it you’re interested in either the Make A Soda or Taste a Soda experiences I would def buy these in advance.

The place has a good history you can learn. You can park in front of the building for 10 dollars a day. Make-a-soda and taste-a-soda seem more like an extra thing I would do for a child. Oh and there was a section dedicated to Japan but I found a Korean coin inside.

We really enjoyed our visit. There are lots of interesting marketing things to see, and the history is pretty cool. Value wise, I think the extra experiences are overpriced. We paid $30 for a quick 20 minute make your own soda. I think a fair value would be half or make general admission $15 and include the experience. I think it would also be cool to make a professional label instead of one you write in with a sharpie. That being said, the folks running the experience were super awesome and did an outstanding job. If you are in the area, I recommend stopping. Lots of good photo opportunities.

Ok. We didn't make it in time to go through the museum. But the gift shop and fountain are fun. AND! They have Dark Berry Dr. Pepper! If you have time, this is a cool, fun little place to see.

If you are in the area this is a great place to check out for some local history. The place is filled with the local history of Dr. Pepper. Admittedly, I thought this was the same as the Dublin Dr. Pepper but it is not. This is the Kurig Dr. Pepper company. They have all kinds of old bottles, animatronics to talk about soft drinks, the old drug store look and feel, and even a moving 7UP bottle line. It’s an entertaining place to take kids or visiting family.

Great place to visit. Enjoyed touring the museum. It has 3 floors filled with Dr Pepper stuff plus adjoining buildings with a gift shop & small cafe. Plus it is only about 2 blocks away from the famous Magnolia Complex of Chip & Joanne fame.

Near place to visit, although I think the admission fee was a little high for being mostly focused on the brand's marketing over the years. It was still cool to visit the original planting you do get a free cup of Pepper with admission. The Dr. Pepper float was really good

We highly enjoyed the Dr. Pepper Museum. Lots of cool things on display.Good history of the company and it's employees. I enjoy the trucks on display a lot. The staff was very friendly. It's worth the $10 to get in. My whole family enjoyed the museum. Easy to get to off of I-35

Even if you don't like Dr. Pepper this is a neat place to visit! We booked a Make-A-Soda, a special thanks to Joanna for making it an exciting experience! Wheelchair accessible. Soda fountain. Friendly staff.

Overall fun trip. The museum was smaller than I anticipated but still had a lot of awesome vintage Dr. Pepper memorabilia which was fun to see and walk through, just doesn’t take very long to walk through. Was a fun visit, but I think one visit is enough to see it all :) Admission comes with a dr pepper from the soda shop which is nice. Parking is $10 in a lot right next to the museum itself!

Drove into Waco to visit the motherland, and it was a great experience. The lines to get tickets in my case were about 20 minutes. And the line to get your free Dr Pepper was close to an hour from the man I spoke to in line. We did the Make A Soda Event & the Pick A Soda event. Both were fun and I recommend doing atleast one to make the trip worth it. If I had to pick, I’d do the Pick A Soda event. The exhibits were a fun walkthrough but not the most exciting. I appreciated the good AC and classic old architecture mostly. It’s a quick walk to Magnolia Farms if you want to check out both. But if I had to give one piece of advice, if you buy one of the events online and don’t have a ticket, show up plenty early so you have time to wait in line. Fun place and I’m glad it exists!

What a cool experience! So much history at the Dr pepper museum. History of sparkling water, mineral water, Dr pepper, and all kinds of other soda's. Museum also had pictures and information about the tornado of 1953 that destroyed a large portion of Waco. Museum tour includes a fountain drink as well. So much history here. Great way to cool off indoors and learn about the history of soda! Definitely recommend this place.

I don't think just anybody would be as excited by this museum as we were, but we are so glad we stopped! It's not World of Coca-Cola (Atlanta), but isn't trying to be, and that's what we loved! It's a small, non-profit museum in an historic building telling a story about the rise of soft drink, the bottling processes, the employee experiences, the international expansion, the power of marketing, and the passion of one of Dr. Pepper's most devoted CEOs-W. W. "Foots" Clements. My 16 year-old said he preferred it to World of Coke (though that was about 4 years ago). That may have also partly been because it's smaller size and cheaper ticket meant we only spent about 2 hours and didn't burn out the kids. Mom and I had been through here almost 20 years ago and were shocked how much it seemed to have grown. If it was there before, we missed the 7-Up section and soda jerk / soda floats completely before, but not this time! Who SHOULD visit? I'd say it is definitely better for someone who is interested in soda pop (or history in general), willing to do a lot of reading, and doesn't require hands-on exhibits to stay occupied. A bit of nostalgia helps, too, whether you're of the "10, 2, and 4" era or "Wouldn't you like to be a Pepper, too?" Now, time to go try a hot Dr. Pepper...

Today I did the Extreme Pepper Experience and had a great time. Gained alot of knowledge and appreciation for the history of Dr Pepper. The experience was cool getting to make my own drink and getting a bottled DP and DP Float. For the make your own, I chose vanilla and peach and turned out pretty good. I would definitely recommend checking out the museum and the experiences they have to offer.

Fun museum on the history of Dr. Pepper. Three floors to explore and lots of cute photo ops in the museum. Soda fountain was a fun way to end, and some of the soda choices are included with the $10 admission ticket, or you can get $ 1 off other options, including floats. Taste-A-Soda and Make-Your-Own-Sodas you can add on for an extra $5 and $10 per person. Both are very fun and memorable experiences. Pogo pass Dallas includes the admission ticket, and you can usually find promos for a discount on the Pogo pass.

"I'm A Pepper", so of course I had to visit the Dr. Pepper Museum while in Waco! :-) There are 3 floors packed with memorabilia inside of a 1906 bottling plant. There's so much to take in and interact with that I recommend giving yourself at least an hour to get through it all. One of my favorite things about this museum was a "theater" where you can sit and watch all of the Dr. Pepper commercials! The "I'm A Pepper" commercial is my favorite, but my goodness, I heard it in my head over and over for the rest of the tour. :-) Then there's the gift shop and the soda fountain, complete with a "soda jerk", so plan on an extra hour of two after enjoying the museum. Grab a free Dr. Pepper (best ever) or get a dollar off a Dr. Pepper Float on your way out. My friend, Nicole, thought the sign that read "Tip your Jerk" was awfully rude, until I explained that Soda Jerk is the actual title of the sweet lady who poured our DP! :-D (If you love Dr. Pepper like I do, grab a bag of Dr. Pepper Cotton Candy while your there!) I absolutely recommend making time to visit the Dr. Pepper Museum if you're ever in or near Waco, Texas! I loved it!

We loved the museum! If you are in the area, definitely stop by and check it out! There are 3 floors. Loved learning about the history and how Dr Pepper is made. There’s public parking across the street for $10. We parked near Union Hall for $5 all day.

  • 5/5 Matthew B. 2 years ago on Google
Very fun and interesting trip to the Dr. Pepper museum. We made our own sodas and had fun looking at all of the history of the soda as well as 7Up and other sister sodas. Even though the Dr. Pepper float did not have nearly enough ice cream in it, I can say I got a Dr. Pepper float.

  • 4/5 Lucia Z. 1 year ago on Google
The museum has expanded into two buildings which is nice. Actually three areas. One part is where the actual museum history of the beginning, the other is the gift shop, and the last building is were you experiment making your own soda, and buying the Dr Pepper floats. Also there is an extra charge for making your soda tasting the sodas and for the parking space. It’s a nice entertainment for the kids. The staff is well organized and are very friendly highly recommend this place for everyone.
