Just a stunning place in the heart of nature. Quiet, secluded, beautiful property. Everything about Nimbo Fork Lodge oozed quality. From initial contact to our goodbye. Gemma was first class. If you love nature, beautiful lodgings and excellent service. Do not pass this place up.

Beautiful location. Room in main building next to the kitchen extractor fan chimney so noisy vibrations late into the night. Decor becoming tatty with basic cleaning and simple maintenance missed. Definitely you only want to stay in a cabin. Food and drink “adequate”. Several menu items off the menu, selection of drink available not great and what was available wasn’t fantastic. Menu is fixed by season so you don’t want more than one or two days there at best. They can’t adapt as they don’t have alternatives. You can’t even get vanilla ice cream despite it being on the menu. It is an upscale franchise restaurant where they greenwash their food but lack heart in its production, the menu is designed elsewhere and lacks passion. “You must say this is great, because we tell you it is.” “Really? Ok.” “These are our cocktails” “Ok can you make anything else!” “Um no we don’t have the ingredients.” Excellent polite staff having to apologise and make excuses for venue penny pinching and inflexibility. It’s stiff not relaxing. Basically the staff need more freedom and authority to manage the venue appropriately but they are suffocated by some bean counting offsite management who think they know best whilst cutting into the bone. It needs investment but it seems like the owner is sucking it dry. They missed out on $100 additional spend from us due to the lack of stock and basic choice. Illogical. No one about when we left in the morning and nowhere to leave the key. Place locked up like a morgue. No call to confirm amount taken from card. Simple stuff. Currently not worth a repeat visit. There are better alternatives out there in the area. It’s a shame as it has great potential. Dump the ducks franchise, empower the staff to manage it themselves, make the menu less formal and more flexible and it would be fun.

Amazing place a credit to the owners. The food from the restaurant is absolutely delicious, and the staff ( Lucy and Courtney) made it so relaxed and enjoyable we will always remember our stay. 11/10 cheers damien and Tara

Very disappointing. WE thought we had booked a cottage but instead had a pokey, noisy room above the kitchen. There were no fly screens so we couldn't leave the windows open so it was very stuffy. Double bed was way too small.

Amazing place. Away from everything but so peaceful down by the creek. The food is also incredible and the accomodation was very comfortable and super cute

We had a cottage, lovely room and bathroom with a great verandah to watch the rushing river. The river and lots of tiny birds are the only sounds you hear. Idyllic in every way! Unfortunately the restaurant is not open every night and no other meals are available. ( A picnic hamper breakfast is available for purchase but the contents did not appeal).

Where do I start The staff are experts in customer service and making your experience an absolute joy. The serving staff for dinner were incredible and fun (shout out to Courtney) and the building and accommodation is simply first class. The walk and scenes surrounding the lodge are first class. Will definitely be coming back again! Ty!

Our two night stay at Nimbo Folk Lodge was unforgettable. From our greeting upon arrival to the service from the wait staff at Three Blue Ducks restaurant we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay and eat. A great place to unwind and escape the hustle and bustle of a busy lifestyle. We highly recommend Nimbo Folk Lodge for your next getaway.

Amazing lookout and surroundings. Decoration is good and staff friendly. Dinner was very nice. The staff could benefit from a little of customer care orientation. I asked whether I can be accommodated next to the fireplace and was told that it was reserved for an engagement. When I tried to order my drinks, I was ignored for a couple of minutes and the reason? The engagement. Basic lesson about customer care: make all your clients feel special. We were there to celebrate our wedding anniversary and my birthday, but apparently an engagement scores double :) If I pay the same as the rest of their customers, I deserve the same level of service. Also, if possible, avoid rooms over the kitchen. The bed vibrates if the kitchen has already started cooking the meals.

Our whole experience was wonderful. Every staff member was beyond accommodating, over the phone and in person. The cabin was excellent with everything we required, warm and well set out. Lounge and dining areas were welcoming and relaxing. Even the parrots provided entertainment in the morning watching them shyly feed on the native flora. We loved our experience and want to return in Spring/Summer to try fly fishing and sunset on the balcony.

Absolutely breathtaking!! This place was simply outstanding in every way possible. The staff were so friendly and attentive, Eunice & Lucy were very welcoming. The food was just incredible… The best lamb I’ve ever had. Not to mention the beautiful views… I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a surreal experience. We loved every minute of being there!

What can I say? Food was exceptional. It's 20mins out from Tumut and it's like driving onto your own ranch up a long drive. 1st, it is a little expensive, but we'll worth it. Posted pictures of a coffee and bar snack. 2nd, going back on Sunday for wedding anniversary. I'll update after we have dinner.

Charming and picturesque. Would definitely visit again. Great sunset and river views from the cottage.

The cottage was beautiful and staff were lovely. Especially Eunice on arrival, so helpful. Unfortunately the food was not 5 star. The trout tasted like water. 🤔 Asking along the creek was lovely. We decided to stop at the mains.

I have just spent the weekend here with some girlfriends and we all had the best stay. Our accommodation was so gorgeous with the most beautiful views. The food and drinks amazing. The star of the weekend was our host Peter. Nimbo Fork Lodge are so lucky to have someone so talented and accommodating. He went above and beyond to make our stay so enjoyable and effortless. 5/5 for service. I will be back.

Amazing place. Beautiful surrounds. Fantastic food that won't break the bank. Great staff. Can't wait to go back & stay a day or 2

The accommodation at Nimbo Fork Lodge was high quality and matched that we experienced at our previous stay, however we were disappointed with the dining options. The $18 breakfast hamper was fine as a one-off novelty but not something I wish to eat each morning. A small pot of tea was an additional $4. The lauded Three Blue Ducks dinner options fell well short of the previous dining experience and suggested culinary corners were being cut.

Now here is a place I strong recommend. From the moment we arrived the experience began. The Three Blue Ducks...what a winner, meals all 5 start. only problem is we should have stayed there and will next time.
