"NOTICE! This Coop is Now Gender Neutral" It's quite disappointing that Kidcity Children's Museum has chosen to prioritize political agendas over providing a fun and educational experience for 1-7-year-old children. The recent decision to make the coop gender neutral seems unnecessary and irrelevant to the interests and needs of young children. Children and chickens alike are unlikely to be concerned with such political matters. Unfortunately, it seems that Kidcity Children's Museum is more interested in pushing their own ideologies than catering to the developmental needs of children. This approach feels like a disservice to parents who expect a neutral and inclusive environment for their kids to learn and play. Instead of indulging in unnecessary politicization, Kidcity Children's Museum should focus on delivering a quality experience for children, taking inspiration from establishments like Bud Light and Target. These successful brands manage to cater to a wide range of customers without subjecting young minds to divisive ideologies. Instead of focusing on delivering a quality experience that puts children's needs first, Kidcity Children's Museum seems more preoccupied with promoting a "woke" culture. This approach mirrors the mistakes made by other companies, such as Bud Light and Target, who suffered significant revenue losses when they veered into political involvement. Parents seeking a politically neutral environment for their children may want to consider alternatives. In light of the museum's apparent inclination towards promoting a "woke" culture, I cannot recommend visiting Kidcity Children's Museum if you want to shield your children from such influences. It's unfortunate to witness a place that should prioritize children's innocence and joy become a platform for political agendas.

This place is open to ages 1 through 8. Sections with climbing, exploration and imagination throughout. 90 minutes was sufficient and maybe 2 hours had it not started to get busier. Reservation online only, no walk-ins, I liked that. They have 4 bathrooms and a fun section in the basement for 1 and 2 year olds. You do pay to park with a meter. Coins or card. 1.00 an hour. 10.00 per person for entry.

The heart of the museum is the castle upstairs and the castle is really nice for kids to play and use their imagination around. It's a fun place for a couple of hours.

Lots of fun activities! My 10 year old had a blast with her siblings and cousins all under 6 years of age. Love the themes, and excited to see what comes next!

I took my 1 year old here & I will never forget the look of just pure joy on his face. The way he ran around so excited to see all these insanely awesome interactive exhibits was just heartwarming. The toddler area was one of his favorites, it was such a chill environment in comparison to the top floors. I recommend this place to anyone who has kids that fit the age-range. It is just absolutely amazing & the fact it’s affordable for families who have a state-benefit card is just so thoughtful & inclusive. I also absolutely LOVE the breastfeeding mermaid in the toddler area, that was such a beautiful piece. All the artwork in this place is amazing. Staff is really friendly too <3 if I could give it 100 stars then I would.

If you have a child 7 and under you have to bring them! The attention to detail all the different place to explore and as much as this is for kids the parents are definitely thought of!

Loved it for my 18 month, he had soooo much fun. I would def go back again. Sooo many interactive things they can do. Like the picking and planting carrots, the train set, the dinosaurs, cars and old diner and shopping concept. This kid was in heaven and KO'D in car after.

Had a great time! I've been trying to find a time to bring my toddler here and we finally made it. So, glad we did & we'll definitely be back. My very active kiddo had a great time and we spent over 5 hours (w/a few breaks) playing. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Tons to do, there was something new around every corner. Lovely rooms, thoughtfully made, and engaging for the littles. I can't say enough great things about kidcity! I read a few (very few) low reviews, and IMO, I think the few people that didn't like this place probably just don't enjoy kid-centered activities. I you have an active and curious young child that you want to keep busy pack some lunch/snacks/bag full of random little kid supplies, and head to kidcity. You'll be pleased! Just a heads up, times tickets get listed at 3pm for the next day and often sell out quickly, so set an alarm and plan ahead.

This place was imagined into existence by people who have to be just some of the best people on earth. It is a magical wonderland. Our one-year old had so much fun in the toddlers-only “Sea Cave”. And there are other spaces and activities that older children- probably up to about 6 or 7 at least, would also love. Creative touches are in every corner. I wish they had an annual membership! Even though we live an hour away, we will definitely be coming back.

Not enough good things to say about this incredible not-so-little museum. So much amazing thought put into every nook and cranny. Feels safe to bring littler children, without big kids plowing them over at top speed. And somehow much cleaner than I would ever expect a children's museum to be. 11/10.

All I can say is WOW! What a cute place!! It’s so nicely built and made inside. It is a literal kid city. For the size of the building I was really impressed by all of the attractions inside. Every section was really well done, the paintings and murals on the walls are really good and detailed- fun to look at. It’s honestly hard to pick a favorite room/theme- we loved them all. For sure a fun way to beat the heat on a hot summer day. We didn’t get a chance to use any of the snack areas, but they looked nice and clean. There is a spot right inside the door too to put your personal belongings you don’t want to carry around. The staff we saw was really nice. And many bathrooms around the building as you walk through. We had tons of fun and plan to be back!

A MUST SEE. I am amazed at how detailed, high quality, well maintained, unique, and extremely clean every single exhibit was! As an early childhood specialist and as a sensory sensitive family...I give it five stars. Most children's museums are wonderfully exhausting, KidCity was simply wonderful! It's anything but boring, but masterfully done to be both engaging and self limiting (I don't think I said, "No, don't do that/get off" even once). Also, not a screen in sight! High five to the mastermind(s) behind the scenes.

This place feels homemade and creative (like nearby Oddfellows Playhouse), and extremely high quality and well thought out. Also very well maintained. I don't know how those wall building blocks that get transported all around the middle ages set don't look worn out. And the scarfs in the magical scarf blowing machine all seemed clean and pristine. Bravo to the staff and designers. This place is truly special.

Absolutely great. Clean and well maintained, with beautiful, creative activities. It's the best children's museum we've ever been to, hands down. The castle room is so cool that it's hard to get the kids to explore the rest of the place, so maybe don't start there. The fish room is also a stand out favorite. Don't miss the Italian room on the second floor with the fountain! Amazing stuff.

Amazing! Best kids activity center in the northeast. Very clean and the people that created this were very creative! We loved the castle area- very cool use of loose bricks...kids were working together to build walls, and transporting the bricks using pulleys and wheels to the second level. Loved the theater section and the fish station - magnetic fish and fish transporters were cool.. Lots of ways for children to be physically active and lots of quiet areas. Lots of places for parents to sit. I hope it stays open for generations.

Best children’s museum we’ve visited so far! Not big but so many to do inside. Everything was carefully, considerably and heartily designed and built. Everything corner is being utilized very well. Toys and surfaces are frequently sensitized. The owner and staff truly put their hearts in it. This museum is for little ones and preschoolers.

This place is beautiful, must pay for parking, no strollers, staff is so kind and accomodating. Average stay is 2-3 hours. Get tickets in ADVANCE online. Lots of themed play rooms, this is just one of the MANY.

Love this place. I remember my mom taking my younger brother here, and now I'm bringing my own kid. Think they have been around for 25 years at this point. Everything still seems new and fun. Downstairs is for younger kids. The upper two floors are for everyone. There is so much to see and do that one trip probably isn't enough. Great rainy day activity.

The favorite happy place for my daughter since now on! We’ve never been there before but definitely we will be back soon. And we drove an hour!! We met there a friend with her daughter and the girls played 3 hours straight. Then after lunch my daughter wanted to go back and she played an other hour. If possible we would stayed there the whole day! Beautiful rooms with so many details, a place where to develop fantasy and sharing skills. And not expensive. E full 5 stars!!

My 2 year old son had a blast. My friends 14 month old also enjoyed it! We got there before any crowd. We didn't realize they were in the process of closing up as we sat down in the lounge area before we left but the staff was beyond understanding as we let the kids drink their juice and wind down before leaving. The employees were all very welcoming. Definitely returning soon!
