Beautiful
Camp
located
directly
at
lake
Nyasa
and
about
10-15min
by
car
from
Mbamba
Bay.
The
Manager
Cashew
gave
us
a
very
warm
welcome
and
even
picked
us
up
at
Mbamba
Bay.
For
accommodatio
starrypicked
a
Banda
(kind
of
a
Bungalow)
which
had
a
comfy
bed,
shower
and
toilet.
Because
of
the
rain
season
(april)
we
had
the
whole
beach
for
ourselves
and
the
water
was
perfect
clear
so
one
of
us
went
for
a
swim.
Even
though
there
are
reports
of
crocodiles
and
schistosomiasis
in
the
lake
we
felt
completely
safe
because
of
the
location
and
the
sandy
beach.
We
greatly
enjoyed
the
food
below
the
giant
baobab
tree
and
in
the
evening
sat
together
at
a
campfire
on
the
beach
under
a
beautiful
starry
night-sky.
Sadly
we
left
earlier
than
planned
on
the
next
day
but
still
we
were
treated
very
warmly
by
the
whole
staff.
Overall
it
was
a
very
nice
and
enjoyable
stay,
sadly
we
couldn't
do
any
of
the
activities
the
camp
offers.
The
only
downside:
the
Banda
isn't
that
soundproof,
so
people
with
light
sleep
could
have
a
hard
time
sleeping
with
all
the
animal
noices
(like
cows
and
roosters
in
the
morning).
