Great location, at the beach and next to a natural hill where you can walk. Service was excellent: dinner at the waterfront or in the tree house for just 10,000 shillings, interesting free walking tour of the farm area... The staff was very helpful. And very good value for campers: for 10 dollars per person, we received a 'banda' to put our tent under, an elaborate breakfast and coffee with snacks at 4 pm.

Very beautiful, quiet and safe place to relax directly at the lake nyasa at the beach with a very nice garden and very nice employees and nice accomodations as well as different interesting activities. Do not miss to go snorkeling (best would be of course to do this on a sunny day with blue sky) to Mbamba-Bay-Island and hike as well to the little mountain next to the Bio-Camp. The walk from the bus station Mbamba-Bay to the Bio-Camp (around 1,5h) along the coast is very beautiful, too. 100% recommendation. Thanks again to the Bio-Camp-Team. Greetings.

The place is amazing..everything is natural and from Tanzania except maybe for 2% - 10%...its good for privacy...the rooms and wash room are well designed...it is where you can see the production of everything you are using, that includes the food, water, bio energy....

We enjoyed our stay. Nice place on the beach. We enjoyed bird watching. We were able to identify 30 different species on a 2 hour early morning walk. Breakfast was included with the room. Rooms are self-contained. Electricity is solar with Tanesco and generator backups.

Beautiful Camp located directly at lake Nyasa and about 10-15min by car from Mbamba Bay. The Manager Cashew gave us a very warm welcome and even picked us up at Mbamba Bay. For accommodatio starrypicked a Banda (kind of a Bungalow) which had a comfy bed, shower and toilet. Because of the rain season (april) we had the whole beach for ourselves and the water was perfect clear so one of us went for a swim. Even though there are reports of crocodiles and schistosomiasis in the lake we felt completely safe because of the location and the sandy beach. We greatly enjoyed the food below the giant baobab tree and in the evening sat together at a campfire on the beach under a beautiful starry night-sky. Sadly we left earlier than planned on the next day but still we were treated very warmly by the whole staff. Overall it was a very nice and enjoyable stay, sadly we couldn't do any of the activities the camp offers. The only downside: the Banda isn't that soundproof, so people with light sleep could have a hard time sleeping with all the animal noices (like cows and roosters in the morning).
