    We had the shank R185 and the lamb curry R150. Shank was ok but curry was terrible. I was very surprise that nobody asked how the food was, further to this we had to wave down staff for service when it was not even busy. All the staff just stand at the bar at have conversations and ignored us. The bill cane to R500 between the 2 of us... Restaurant looks nice but needs service training and a more attentive manager. Finaly the teapot lid and teapot don't match.

    We are eating Harvest at this moment at Road Lodge. I usually enjoy their food but this is disappointing. The food is cold, the pizza is hard and tasteless and who packs icecream with chocolate sauce like this? Experience ruined. Milkshake spilled all over the food as well. The Malva pudding is rock hard and the chips are not good.

    The waitresses at harvest grill don't give you the experience that you are a client, they are arrogant and make you feel as if you they are doing you a fabour by servicing your tabble or that if you are not of coloured descent you don't deserve their service. See me at Harvest grill again kill me. I won't even advise my friends to go there.

    Extremely appalling service. Waited 10mins to get helped. After ordering our drinks and starters we were told there wasn't any chicken prawns and fish. Highly do not recommend any one to go there. On top of that we called for management, they didn't even pitch. Absolutely disappointing!!!

    The waiter was very kind and helpful. He is very good at his job, although the kitchen messed up a little on our order. We did enjoy our time here, the food was good although the atmosphere is lousy, it is normal for a casino.

    Never going back again! Went there on Saturday night for dinner. Firstly, we had to wait for almost half an hour before a waitress came to take our order. Secondly, one of the glasses for drinks seemed dirty. (almost as if it was a used glass which was given). Then what happened next was just sickening. I ordered the mushroom alfredo which I normally get as there aren't many options for vegetarians. Waited for another hour for the food to arrive. When it did, the pasta was the chicken alfredo. While waiting for the waitress to return so that I could tell her she brought the wrong pasta, my partner and I jokingly said what if they just take out the chicken and then bring it back? So we decided to "mark" the plate in a way that only we would know. When the waitress finally did arrive she blamed the kitchen for the mix up, took the pasta back and said the proper one would be prepared in 5 minutes. When she brought it back, we checked for the mark and low and behold, there it was! Meaning they really did just try to dig out the chicken pieces from the pasta and brought the same plate back to me. If that was an appropriate thing to do for me as being a vegetarian, I could have just done it myself. Taken out the chicken pieces as I ate. But for me personally, that's highly inappropriate. I am vegetarian for religious purposes and that made me feel as if they had no respect towards their clients. Makes you wonder what else could be going on in that kitchen. Anyway, we did ask to see the manager who could only give us an apology as "there's no excuse for what the kitchen had done". We were regular customers but will definitely not be going back again after this incident. You should be terribly ashamed to try and trick your customers like that😡

    I was skeptical to eat here because the reviews were bad and the restaurant was always empty, but I ate dinner here three consecutive nights and surprisingly the food and service was fantastic! The prawns were delicious and one of the best I've eaten! Thank you!

    I have to pick 1 star because there is no option for less than that. For the second night in a row I wanted to have dinner after another long and tiring day. And for the second night there wasn't a table available - even though I could clearly see a 6-seat table with no reserved sign. The staff would rather stand at the bar and chat than try to assist or serve you. I declined a seat in the smoking area due to being allergic to tobacco smoke & offered to settle for a take-away. The (over-used) menu eventually arrived (it seems it's kept at the bar rather than the restaurant desk), & then I waited more to place my order. Again the staff were having a chat at the bar, whilst looking straight at me as I tried to get someone to take my order. A waiter eventually did come to me, and after repeating my order of a burger & chips 3 times, got it. Probably because he was looking around & kept on saying that he wants to make a plan for me to sit somewhere. I said no thank you & that I just want the take-away as I was really tired & want to get out of there. He then - believe it or not - attempted to convince me to wait whilst they find me a table. So ... I cancelled my take-away order & said goodbey - hopefully never to have to have a meal at this place again. I cannot comment on the food - obviously, as I never got to that stage of "service". Unprofessional, seemingly untrained & certainly NO customer-centric staff.

    On a Saturday 14:40 and only the barman left to service the restaurant. No beers in stock. Waited 20 minutes until I called the counter for service. So far I have not tried the food. I am hoping of I ever get to order that the food will be OK. Maybe the barman is the chef as well. Don't waste your money on this place.

    Very slow and sub-par service. Waiters were arrogant and unapologetic about orders taken incorrectly. Overall very disappointed. Would not recommend.
