During all my travel across the globe I mist admit this hotel let you really feel welcome, it is not a plastic face that smile and greet, the staff is genuine and always try to solve any problems, from the cleaning staff(they are awesome and make this place top notche) all the way to reception and management. The restaurant habe a good selection food, breakfast is a bit on the expensive side, only down fall but in general I will always go back when business take me to the big hole city and they are right next to the big hole. They have a really nice view of this historic hole and the staff all have a lot of information about the hole. Rooms are awesome, better than some I stayed in US and Europe. I would gave them a 10 star is possible. Please keep up the service.

This hotel is quite fancy and expensive, but not really worth the value. The environment is great, it’s clean and quiet and private. But the management of the catering is terrible. First of all, they served the food incredibly slow, we only got our food like an hour after we ordered them. It’s like 10:30 in the Wednesday morning, and very few people were there, so I have no idea why they took so long. Second, we ordered the lamb burger, it contains many special items on the burger, so I think that’s why it charges 70 Rands more than the beef burger, but when the waiter served it, it’s like a normal burger with lamb patty. The waiter only came to explain to us about lacking of ingredients after we figured out it’s not right. We would appreciate it if they could explain to us in the beginning, then we could have decided to take it or not. Third, the manager of the restaurant only came to ask how’s everything for a second after we paid. Not so welcoming.

Beautiful place, filled with Kimberly's heritage as you walk into the reception. The Hotel's theme is entirely themed around the historic events of Kimberly and the Big Hole, which is right where the hotel is situated.

Amazing banana milkshake

All was great, but most importantly I forgot an expensive item in the room and only realized this the next day. I was thankful that housekeeping Kedibone found my item and Patience kept it safe until I could recover it.
