Friendly staff, great beds and linen, delicious breakfast

The best guesthouse I ever had the pleasure to visit! The food was absolutely exquisite and the service was amazing. Would definitely recommend a sleep here. There was nothing I needed. I felt right at home!

A last minute change in plans saw me hopping around to find a place in Kimberly. Luckily the trusty old Uitzicht was available. I managed to book and confirm my booking via Whatsapp which is a huge plus for those of us on the road all the time. Arriving later afternoon at the gate which was promptly opened for me. Check in was easy and quick as always. Friendly receptionist as well as complimentary coffee, cookie and sherry awaited and I was quickly shown to my room. The rooms are of decent size, neat, clean and have all the essentials such as aircon, en suite, complimentary wifi, tea/ coffee and tv. Decent curtains provided for a nice dark room to get a good nights rest as well. I opted for an inclusive of meals deal so a home cooked meal was promptly served around 18h00 and included a class of wine. My neighbours tv was a bit noisy but I managed to drift off to sleep shortly after I went to bed at night. Breakfast was on time so no complaints from me. Uitzicht remain one of my preferred guest houses in Kimberly so I will for sure be back on the next trip to the area.

I did not sleep well here, the fridge made noise, the trucks made noise in the street and the lights from the tv decoders were shining in my eyes all night. The breakfast was really nice and the people were very friendly. I came back 2 months later- lights still shine in your eyes when you sleep. The next morning I asked for them to make the filter coffee and they kind of hinted that I should just drink the Nescafé that was there. So I decided to have no coffee. Then when the lady did make the coffee she overloaded the machine and everything spilled all over the place. Not sure what’s going on in the kitchen but they must at least get coffee right in the mornings.

I went to Kimberley for Business stayed for 5 months.. location is top next to the mall. The Staff is very friendly and welcoming, felt like home. The food is great. I really enjoyed my stay. Thank you Uitzicht Team.
