The food was ok. Tried the mealie bread breakfast...expected much more from the mealie bread itself but it was just a flapjack. Couldn't taste the mealies in there, was very disappointing. Takes very long to get served....even after we were done, we had to wait for sometime for the bill eventually we stood up and paid at the front counter.

My husband and I have been enjoying breakfast at Wimpy for quite some time. 2 years ago I rated 4 stars. Today- one. We have previously contacted the owner regarding cleanliness, however, it just gets worse every visit. The outdoor furniture is broken, the umbrellas don't work, papers everywhere and the seating overall greasy and dirty. I must however mention, that the waitering staff are always friendly and eager to provide a most welcoming and friendly service, the food consistent. Sad that I have to eat breakfast in a smelly trash can😡

These people will charge you R45 for a cup of filter coffee that costs R34 according to the menu.if you dont tell them that your order is not right then they overcharge you. I even sent in my co driver afterwards to see if they would do the same thing, and they did. Pretending that they made a mistake. Pocketing R10 from each client that falls for it. Please watch out guys

Service was great. The chips tasted like it was cooked in old oil. It was loadshedding during our visit, so there was no aircon on, and it was really hot inside.

Service was very slap dash. Took half an hour to receive very simple breakfasts. Asked for soft eggs and received very hard eggs. Streaky bacon was tiny, thin little strips of leather. Pork sausage the same. Hash brown pieces were oily and over cooked. Toast was only toasted on one side. The waitress seemed to have better things to do than ensure we had a pleasant experience. Quite frankly, not worth it at all.

Day ruined at breakfast due to pathetic service from a very unprofessional waiter named Magritte/Margrethe.I am a everyday wimpy fan with my pastors but after the pathetic service of this morning...No And now that I am home telling my kids about it it's been the second time in two weeks I got such bad service from her.She is very inexperienced and have a bad body language... Please owner/management intervene because due to that you will be loosing alot of business
