Great atmosphere. Would most certainly return and recommend to friends and family. Food is really good. Staff were friendly and the other bikers we met there were welcoming.

Absolutely the perfect place to recendle romance with your partner. We visited the Restaurant yesterday and we were welcomed with open arms. Absolutely great food and best atmosphere. Had such a great time. Thank you guys. I just wish more people would actually know that this place is the Bomb!!

Went looking for dinner in quiet Kimberly and found Star of The West on the corner. Delighted to discover the spacious courtyard and friendly service. Had a great meal. Neat facilities and good music from the DJ box.

The place is monumental yet so historical... great food , music and service.

Noisy, drunk patrons detracted from an otherwise pleasant experience. Fresh, well presented food and excellent service. The outside seating area needs some attention to decor and atmosphere. Somewhat utilitarian with the feeling that as many seats as possible have been crammed into the available space.

Relatively new refurbished. Bar and small tables available indoors (air-conditioned). Outside suitable for live entertainment for upto ~400 people. Very friendly staff and the food was excellent, even if it only was a burger and chips..delicious!

What an amazing place to visit. They revamped the place so nicely. Such a nice atmosphere. Even a lovely space for the kiddies to play. Nice big screens to watch rugby or music videos. Rich history, definitely a must see when in Kimberley. We did not eat there but the food sure looked delicious

It's a bar with a large open area with many tables. It is an a somewhat dodgy area, but the food and service was good. Their card machine didn't work when I was there, so had to go to ATM to get cash across the street. Apparently it changes from bar/restaurant into night club with bands and DJs on certain evenings. Was very quiet when I was there at about 4PM on a Monday afternoon.

Great interior and attentive staff. The history makes it a must. Had some drinks while relaxing on their couches.
