Our family dined at John Dory's and it did not disappoint. The food was exceptional, great quality. Our waiter served us with a smile and was helpful in every way. Overall, I would totally recommend the restaurant if you want to have a great meal with family and friends while being in a relaxed atmosphere.

Food was awesome. Lots of new items on the menu. Bao buns with prawn was delicious.

Wow this is where the vibe is at in Kimberley!! Be sure to feast on their half price sushi Wednesday's. Great quality sushi, neatly made, with a great selection including spring rolls and tempura prawns. The owner and staff here operate like a family, you're every need will be efficiently seen to. Safe mall with security presence in open parking just outside the restaurant. Thank you for the lovely evening and keep up the great service :)

The food was great but the service was slow and the waiter forgot our drinks. We were almost finished eating when they eventually came. Once we asked for the bill they forgot about us. We ended up paying at the door. For what you spend the service is lacking.

Why is the phone off???!! It’s impossible to get hold of you guys! My order was incorrect and now I have to put a complaint through Mr D when it’s not their fault you guys have terrible customer service.

The food is always excellent , but the sushi is at times disappointing. Ive had amazing sushi, but at times it is so dry and almost impossible to swallow.

Good Service & great food, but quite dirty. Our table were sticky, and the bathroom is a mess.

Overall disappointing. Firstly we had to wait for someone to even realise we were waiting for a table while watching the manager chat on his phone. Eventually we were noticed and seated. Ordered an ice coffee which I couldn't drink with a straw because the chunks of ice kept getting stuck in the straw. It was suggested we order a platter to share, within a few minutes it was at our table, cold. Giving the impression it was previously sent back to the kitchen. Requested it be warmed. It was returned to the table but without any lemon or condiments. When I asked for lemon I was given slices instead of wedges, which I then somehow had to squeeze over my food. Our waiter was inattentive and seemed more interested in chatting to another table. I won't be back.

The service was poor. No introduction of waiter or announcement of specials. Waiting forever for drinks to arrive. No order for any food taken. Just assumed everyone was eating sushi. No sushi cutlery, then not enough cutlery. No clearing of tables. No service for new drinks. We had to ask for everything to be done. The waiter clearly didn't want to be there. The service of this branch are declining more with every visit.. Not willing to visit again.
