Absolutely the perfect place to recendle romance with your partner. We visited the Restaurant yesterday and we were welcomed with open arms. Absolutely great food and best atmosphere. Had such a great time. Thank you guys. I just wish more people would actually know that this place is the Bomb!!

Good steaks! Beautiful decor. Worth a visit. Ask to view the cellar that the mine workers used to get into the bar after shifts.

Went looking for dinner in quiet Kimberly and found Star of The West on the corner. Delighted to discover the spacious courtyard and friendly service. Had a great meal. Neat facilities and good music from the DJ box.

Old charm is gone, terrible lapa at the rear. Heritage building across the road demolished for parking.

It's a bar with a large open area with many tables. It is an a somewhat dodgy area, but the food and service was good. Their card machine didn't work when I was there, so had to go to ATM to get cash across the street. Apparently it changes from bar/restaurant into night club with bands and DJs on certain evenings. Was very quiet when I was there at about 4PM on a Monday afternoon.

Noisy, drunk patrons detracted from an otherwise pleasant experience. Fresh, well presented food and excellent service. The outside seating area needs some attention to decor and atmosphere. Somewhat utilitarian with the feeling that as many seats as possible have been crammed into the available space.
