Confirmation that fundamental change takes decades and generations even with visionary leadership as displayed by multiskilled Sol Plaatjie and others - oppressive observations made more than a century ago is still evident - low end jobs, alcohol abuse

Open on a Sunday!! We were there and closed doors. We are tourists and this where the money can be made to do better for the museum's and Kimberley in general. Sad.

One of the most important places to visit in Kimberly. The former house of Sol Plaatjie is run by his descendant and going there you're invited not only to notice his achievements but yiure invited to his private life. 10/10 experience!!!

It's a small museum that can be completed within an hour. The volunteer who works there was eager to educate us and encouraged us to engage. Very I formative and well curated.

👍👍 This is one of those places you have to see at least once in your life. A very clean, well run museum. The big hole is something you have to see to believe and the exhibits are impressive and very informative. My kids weren't sure what to expect but we're really glad we made the stop.
