An ancient site, known for its exquisite rock engravings of elephants, elands and ostriches. Lots of magical shape-shifting creatures depicted. The guide was knowledgeable and I would suggest calling beforehand to organize a personal tour. The centre is somewhat dilapidated and needs some TLC. The introductory video is also quite dated. This space provides a truly unique experience to engage with the art left behind by people who roamed around these lands thousands of years ago.

Hidden gem. A world class site if you want to see engravings of early man. Beautiful sunset location aswell. Great for children discovering engravings and making a game of it. If you sit quietly you may get a sense of the people who lived there in the beautiful surroundings with ample food and water.

A beautiful artwork left by our forebears almost likened to a time capsule. A form of communication between their world and ours asking for immortality. An excellent guide with a wealth of information.

Definitely worth a visit. Rich with information about the Kwe and !Xun people. The rock art is amazing to look at and take in, the effort of it all. The walk up to the rock art is about 200m. It is fairly easy but pebbles and rocks on the path may make it difficult for some. Your visit will be about 30 to 40min long.

An under-appreciated gem of KhoiSan art. The place has so much potential but it’s under-utilised.
