Lizzie was awesome and she's a great asset to the business. The room was excellent and the service first class. Some constructive criticism: The en-suite bathroom was a great disappointment. The spa bath didn't work. The shower look dirty. The mixer on the basin was loose. The tap on the bath had a missing cap. The towel rail was haphazardly repaired with a mismatched end. There was a doorstop below the toilet (why) which I stubbed my toe on twice. And did a blind tiler do the grouting? Conclusion: Room and service = premier. Bathroom = below par.

A wonderful historic house with a lovely garden and incredible friendly owners, who welcome you as a friend and help you whenever you need it. The house and the pool are clean, wifi works, car parking inside of the gate, nice furniture and old charme. Around the corner 2 good restaurants. The Hussar Grill has very good steaks, wine and a fast and very friendly service.

The property has a superb blend of traditional architecture and stylish contemporary interiors. The place is very warm and inviting. I enjoyed my stay and felt like I could stay a little longer. A lovely mixture of shrub borders, paths, palm trees and a beautiful manicured green lawns and a sprawling terrace with wonderful views of the garden.

What a place! Very old atmospheric Colonial house now a comfortable hotel. Great service by young Lizzie and met the indomitable Gert who is an amazing source of history. Very friendly staff who like to feed people. Fantastic stay and on the return list. Thanks

Beautiful place. Love the design and i loved my room especially my big shower and bathtub. Stunning place and a great selection for breakfast. Best place to stay when visiting Kimberly as i travel here alot and ive been to the different places Kimberly has to offer this one is definitely on top!

Just loved it here! This was indeed the best experience in Kimberley. Very clean, comfortable and uniquely designed rooms and the hospitality of the owners is excellent and the breakfast is first class. I spent 4 nights here and will recommend it to anyone travelling through Kimberley.

During our stay at KCH we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. When we got to our room everything was perfect. Our room was beautifully decorated, there was sherry & chocolates on our arrival in our room which was such a pleasure after a 6 Hour drive. We decided to have a nap and when we got up again we were greeted by the lovely fragrances of scented candles in the main square that leads onto the pool. It felt like we were somewhere on a tropical island surrounded by the tall palm trees in the courtyard. The next morning we got up early to enjoy a very lush & enjoyble breakfast. All the staff were very friendly and attentive but not overbearing. There was an amazing spread put out for us, the most unusual but delicious combinations of fruits, yoghurts etc. There was something for everyone and the last morning there were 2 kiddies in the dining room as well. Estie's mom went over to them and asked them exactly what they would like to have to eat and quickly made them a lovely breakfast. They were so chuffed and we could see they really enjoyed it. We were fortunate to get the bay window seat in the dining room every morning to enjoy the view on the lovely gardens. I would highly recommend KCH to anyone be it a couple or a family. We really enjoyed our stay there and will most defenitely be back there soon. A big thank you to Estie, mom and all the staff that made our stay such a memorable experience.
