Friendly reception and an amazing place

I was extremely disappointed. It's very clean, I must give them credit for that. However, they have a problem with extreme noise. We were woken up at 7am the first morning, this is after an 8 hour drive. The 2nd night at about 2am we were also woken up by high volume conversations. I'm not sure if it's guests or staff as reception is open 24 hrs. I discussed this with the receptionist the following morning. It didn't feel like a guesthouse. The bedding definitely needs an upgrade. I would never go back there again.

Got two (2) single beds instead of a dubble bed as per my booking but overall had an comfortable stay. Impressed by the availability of extras like wifi, dstv and netflix ect.

The Kgosi Lodge has a lovely and restful atmosphere. The staff and manager were really friendly and helpful and ensured that we were comfortable and satisfied. Our room was cleaned regularly and was always fresh. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location from the big hole in Kimberly Room was neat and clean They offer free wifi dstv and the room has an aircon The one thing that requires improvement is the shower head, the water comes out really slowly and its not a great way to freshen up

Lovely place. Lovely warm extra blanket. Clean room. Receptionist warm and welcoming. Please have your own cutlery. They have a microwave,fridge,coffee and tea stuff. Cannot ask for more.

I struggled a lot with internet access, it was very difficult to use their internet😏

Staff very friendly and patient since I arrived there a little after midnight, they kept checking on me I felt safe knowing that someone cared enough about me as a female driver at night. Booked the accommodation on the 28th March 2023 and cancelled the accommodation/ booking on the 31st March 2023. KGOSI LODGE then refused to refund our money we booked a room for 10 people. Since the cancellation date to date the people at KGOSI LODGE keep giving us hassles with regards to our refund !!!!! Eg) They keep saying they having issues with there banking app. They refuse to provide our refund. Pathetic customer service and accommodation services as we will not recommend KGOSI LODGE to anyone. They do not want to give customers refunds back !!!!

The place is nice, clean and spacious, however shower was not working and when I tried to contact their "24/7" line no one responded. Ended up having to only wash my face in the basin.

If you want to rest for one night it's not bad

Front of house reception was great. However do not expect honesty in terms of payment agreements. Was promised a small (R100) discount as I booked for a 2 night stay even though I was to check in a few hours earlier but sleep over 1 night. But when I got there this was not honoured, also had to check out a day early due to an emergency and they kept my full amount after agreeing to a 1 night refund. TLDR expect to pay the maximum with no concessions for extenuating circumstances.

There was no water in the shower and in the toilet.

Load shedding measure are not in place. Jst improvement on emergency lighting would make it a better place.

Hank and family were fantastic hosts - not to forget Kiki, their welcoming princess. The stay was restful - the hospitality was superb and the accommodation was spotless. A real home away from home. It is very comforting to know that there are still wonderful people in this world - we should never forget this. Thanks, Hank and family. Looking forward to my next visit.

Awesome guesthouse, staff and owners very friendly. Rooms are also nice and neat, and the air-conditioning makes it very nice during summertime.

We booked a room, paid a deposit, and half an hour before we were supposed to arrive, I received a phone call saying Henk has booked us a room at another self catering place. Very unprofessional. Did not even get a reason for the switch. We had to go stay at a place we knew nothing about. When phoning Henk to try and get an explanation, he refused to answer his phone.

We were supposed to stay there one night. 30 minutes before arriving, the owner booked us into another place without any explication. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!

Very nice guest house.. You feel at home, with the friendly staff and managers who make sure you are well taken care of.. It's worth a stay at Padlangs
