After a long days riding we arrived at The Solomon. A quick check in followed and we were left to our own devices soon after. A room key and gate fob for the main gate was provided. The large rooms have all you need for a quick stay over. Pretty clean and a fair sized bathroom

Not completely fully kitted out for self catering but more than enough is supplied. Rooms are clean and there is no loadshedding and the aircon works. The wifi has decent speeds and is stable. The staff is friendly and polite. Shops are close by and it's very easy to get to the main road. Despite being close to the main road it is peaceful.

I had the privilege of staying at the Soloman for a weekend some 6yrs ago. Wonderful to see recent reviews of the positive feedback. I am once again traveling in October and will certainly be staying there again.

The room is perfectly comfortable and well-kept. No complaints.

It's really clean, spacious and very quiet. The staff was very friendly and I got to check in earlier which was very convenient. I'm definitely booking it for my next trip to Kimberley

It is a nice place to stay for a night or two but not longer. The room we stayed in was quite cramped but it had everything we needed such as hot water and towels. The owner was also welcoming and friendly. Thank you.

A nice place to stay in the heart of Kimberly.

The guesthouse is really nice but the owner of the place and the lady working there are really rude people. They have no respect for guests which made my whole stay uncomfortable. I was there for work

The lady owner is a bit rude. Sometimes they want you to move from a room you are booked in to accommodate new bookings then they want you to spend a night at some horrible back room while you have paid full amount. They don't want you to have a visitor but they advertise rooms as for two adults sharing a bed. At some point I got there very late and there was a very small thin blanket that barely covered my body, it was cold that night. The beds are not that comfy. The location is very good and they offer unlimited WiFi. The TV plays more channels than normal. Two major restaurants within walking distance. If you wanna be alone and not bothered and you're not that fussy with a rather hard double bed then this might be your place. I have more than 3 months of combined stay there. At varying intervals though.

Very comfortable and neat for an overnight stay.

The Hostess, most humble person and calling her after hours she was there in seconds. The place is trully amazing, very clean I am hearing birds as I wake up this morning. I am yet to experience more of the service in the next 7days, but what she sells it's worth every cent you pay. Definitely the comfort is amazing in the room. More to post as I walk around the facility during the day.

Needs more attention to detail in respect of number of people staying in a unit and the amount of coffee, sugar and tea made available. Shower drain to be cleared. Stains on sheets to be checked. Roofs and gutters to be cleared of leaves. Thank you for the reply. The overall experience was more than satisfactory and the issues highlighted by no means detracted from the peace, quiet and "oasis like" experience. We will definitely make use of the establishment again.
