Clever design. Plastic house with a hotel room feel inside. Location not as secluded as we hoped for. Pratical one night stay over.

I am so happy we stayed here, so much to praise including the excellent rate got for our stay. Then tentatively requested to check-in sooner than would they normally would and recieved confirmation it would be fine within minutes. Tastefully decorated and furnished which left me feeling serene and cozy. Lastly, the food! I've attached a photo of my basket, like if a schmorgasboard decided to go to a rugby game. My partners T-bone steak was almost as big as his plate, no messing! Such good value for money and such lovely hosts!

We stayed over at StableWood Lodge for 2 nights and what a pleasant stay we had! The unit was spanking clean and offered all the required amenities. The modern look and feel, huge shower and comfort was a definite plus. We had sufficient privacy since the units are free-standing and quite a distance from one another. Our hosts ensured that our needs were attended to and even serviced our unit at a time comfortable to us. Staff were willing to assist, friendly and accommodating. We loved the tranquility, peace and overall ambiance of StableWood - this is a definite gem and good option for anyone wanting to stay over for a night or two close to Kimberley...

A pleasant overnight stay. The unit was well equipped, clean and neat. Our dinner was delivered from the restaurant and was fantastic. The electric blanket was a much needed bonus at -1 degree! Phillip and Suzette are friendly and helpful.

The lodge has separate, well placed, private chalets. They are well-equipped with all that is needed for a week's stay. Clean, modern, good design and effective use of space. The setting is really good (about 9 km out of Kimberley). Bring a lighter along in case of loadshedding. The gas plates have electric ignition which does not work when the power is out. The lighting during loadshedding is adequate. There is a good signal from cellphone towers in this location so ideal for leisure and work travel. Bring your own food and drink, no meals available here.

Really great overnight stop. Had all the essentials for self catering. Very practical and excellent value out of town on a farm.

Superb hospitality. All amenities are fully functional, and room service on the ball each and every day. No complaints, spectacular scenery. Understanding why this lodge is always fully booked. All in all, 6/5 rating. Big thank-you to aunty Rita and Monica for the duration of our stay.

Great place. Those who love farm life, try this place, you will simply love it. Up grading water supply, to combat load shedding. They are doing everything to make your stay, comfortable.

It was very comfortable, clean. Secluded and out of town, nice place for a little getaway. Generous people, defintely will return.

Our stay was quite pleasant I must say. We enjoyed the whole weekend there. From the rooms to the services that were rendered by place was great. The rooms are big enough and there is a bathroom in each room. They have a well equipped kitchen and they have gas stoves. But the view, that was amazing. The nature and the quite and calmness of the place was great.

Warm welcome as we booked on short notice! Very quiet and relaxing! Bed slept very comfortable! Spacious and comfortable sleepover! Enjoyed an early morning walk around the farm!

The rooms are very clean and private. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. Had place for 6 people on the last minute and catered for all our needs.

Lovely place and nicely situated in a quiet area. Rooms are neat, clean, lovely and very well priced. The kitchen had everything we needed. Wood for the braai was supplied. The owner even popped by to aske if we had everything we needed. The beds are VERY comfortable. Highly recommended.

It was such a pleasure to stay for a longer period at Stablewood Lodge. Friendly owners & their dogs welcomed me! I recommend this stay to anyone who wants to experience the beautiful Northern Cape!!

Modern, clean, basic with kitchenette. A ace to stay overnight while travelling. Provides dinner and breakfast at extra cost.
