Not happy at all with their sales department, My contract was a mess, I was offered this package and debited for a different package. The swimming couch is worse, you send him a message and he will never reply, its been 2months now still waiting for my swimming session. Apparently they still busy with the roaster till now. Otherwise some of their training instructor/personal trainer are very nice and helpful. Ayanda and Tracey to be specific.

Probably one of the smallest and most outdated VA's in the country. Dated and broken equipment. Staff are really not helpful or friendly. Unfortunately the best average gym in Kimberley. Best part about the gym is the Kauai.

The stuff is very unfriendly, get annoyed when you need assistance, when I joined a was promised an induction and a lesson with a fitness trainer, they haven’t done any of that. If it wasn’t for the classes I’d still be stuck. Unfortunately it’s the only virgin active around Kimberly

I believe the gym needs a revamp particularly on the machine side ..new and latest equipment would complement the price and overall look of the facility..

It's a small gym with a lot of people, having to wait or be asked if I'm almost done😒I really wish I knew this before joining

What an abysmal bunch, after many emails proving I have cancelled months ago they still deduct money, then when I send another complaing Lesedi tells me she was on holiday, and a woman purporting to be the manager called me to ask if id like a discount NO I WANT YOU TO DO YOUR JOB AND STOP STEALING MY MONEY.

Don't waste your time and money on this gym. Customer service is very poor with unresponsive and mediocre staff.

The weights setup is good and it has a snack machine. It also has a machine you can use to check your fat percentage, high blood pressure and body weight. It has secured parking and free wifi.

Big up to the cleaners, the gym is extremely super clean thoroughly even the blind spots. The staff is also friendly and superb. Thanks and keep up the good work.

Bit expensive but best quility service provider. Gym and Yoga facility. Also provides instructers.

Enjoyed working out, clean environment, sanitizers and tissues in place to reduce the spread of covid19, some of the members did not wear their marks.

I enjoy going Virgin active in Kimberley. It is clean and the equipment is very well looked after. The staff is competent and friendly. I was very disappounted in the yoga classes. I fo not attent the classes anymore.

Spinning bikes need to be replaced. Stair Master older versions. Can get very busy due to being only Virgin Active in Kimberley.

I swore 10 years ago that I would never patronize patronize Virgin Active gym but since it's the only game in town I had little choice. Considering that they have a near monopoly in the fitness space, it's truly shocking how backwards, ill equipped and just plain AWFUL this "gym" is. 0/10 would never, ever recommend!

It's alright .. I go there and do my thing and I'm out ... it's efficient to all the goals I hope to achieve ... Guess it only depends on how much you want it and how far ur willing to go for it.. 10/10 experience.. I'm giving it 4 stars coz some of the equipment there aint working and some don't have signs showing which muscles it works on.. It's a little challenging for a noob like me.

Best gym in Kimberley in my opinion.They have everything needed to gym and more.

I love it, I just love it. Had a very warm welcome from the reception guys, assisted me with my membership transfer from Bloemfontein to the Kimberly branch within a minutes and I had my first session immediately. Good job guys👌🏽

Comfortably provides in all my training needs; clean and well maintained

If you know what your body needs and if you know how to use the equipment, it's a yes-yes (after nearly 4 years at home training), all in one, cycling, running, suitable and safe apparatus, swimming, different roping, even a boxingbag on the ground that immediately bounces back if you hit or kick it, very practical, off peak times are just fine for me during holidays, not overcrowded, and also time to interact, not realy use the toilets and bathing room, so can't rate it. I'm satisfied. You will always get complainers, some people forget to keep a covid distance.

The gym has become so overpopulated that one cannot use it for many hours of the day...yet they keep on signing on new members. Are they going to realise they are already full at some stage or just collect more money?

Virgin Active please replace the Sound System in the studio. I over all love the gym but doing a class in the studio hasn't been the best lately due to the sound system not working.It hasnt been working properly since last year September or even earlier than that. Please just fix it locally and stop making excuses. We need a new sound system NOW or Virgin Active will see a decline in members. it's not only the studios sound system it's the spinning studio as well. Come now VA dont dissappoint us like this.

Staff are clueless, no gym etiquette is inforced, limited and relatively old equipment compered to other Virgin Actives in the country. At least the Kuwai is good.

Situated in a prime spot the only downside is their membership contracts that binds one from 24 to 36 months.

Most (if not all) equipment is dated. And it seems that the weightlifting section always ends up receiving attention last. Weights are not calibrated and the space is not ample enough for everyone who trains weights. It's extremely annoying when you have to prepare for a national competition whilst you need to deal with broken equipment, unfriendly and unhelpful staff and nasty gym members.
