Stayed for one night but would have stayed for more. This place is very clean, spacious and has enough parking. The only slight issue is the Jojo tank pump that comes on and off which disturbed my sleep. They probably can't do anything about that but it's something that took away from my stay a bit. Overall Good host, good place, good area. Will be back

I was left stranded in Kimberley late in the evening because another guesthouse had given the room I had booked away. Without any hope I called bread and barrel guesthouse and the owner and manager immediately came through for me 💯. If it hadn't been for them I don't know where I would have slept. The staff is also very friendly. It is situated in a safe area, the room are extremely clean and my overall experience was an excellent one. I'm definitely recommending it to my friends and family and that will be where I sleep every time Im in Kimberley.

Stay was dreadful. Owner had assured us that once we had arrived if we need anything we should just call him. From 12 at night some of the tenants that where staying together had come home stuck and started fighting with each other. This carried on until 4 in the morning with continuous calls to Johan with no answer for assistance. To date no call back asking if we were ok or to even what had transpired. Very disappointing

Brand new guest house. Large rooms. For the life off ne can not understand the amount of cupboard space in the room i had. It had more space than i have in my appartment but all were empty.. strange.. there is also no office or even a decent table for the reception person to see you at, only a afterthought cheaply made kids table squeezed into the living room.. weird.. other than that quite good accommodation........

The accommodation is fantastic.Staff are very friendly. The rooms are amazing and clean, very safe and secure area. We were here for my son to play sport so it was great that we had access to a washing machine to clean his kit. I would however not recommend getting the breakfast pack. The bread was stale and hard. Just had a bit of cheese on. None of us eat fish, so the little fish finger thing was a waste. All in all definitely not worth the R100 per person. Great hospitality overall. The reception from the Manager was warm and very welcoming. Family room was very neat and comfortable.

The customer care is unmatched, they do everything possible to make sure you’re as comfortable as possible. Nothing is taken for granted..

Travelled to Kimberley to attend a funeral we booked two nights for a large family with kids...Michelle and her team made our stay so pleasant will definitely stay there again when next in Town.
