Simply spectacular. Everything about this is good. If you have an interest in the South African war, this is the place to visit. The museum is fantastic and tells the story from both sides. Worth every minute!

Props to the Norwegians and Swedish who sacrificed their lives to the overwhelming British forces in honorable deaths

A small troop of Scandinavian soldiers came to the aid of the Boer's during the battle at Magersfontein but they were surrounded by British troops, overwhelmed they lost the battle here to about one man. Visiting the site one is struct by the vast open flat land and the immensity of the task this troop had. Visiting the site one can almost hear the battle cries and sounds of fighting.
