This has to be one of the best Mexican restaurants I might have come across in Nova Area. The taste is amazing, not even a small disappointment from service to food no complaints at all. We order Veggie dishes like tacos, quesadillas and enchiladas. All very tasty and delicious with required amount on cheese in them. We are definitely going to stop again especially for tacos 🌮

Service was really really bad. One of the worst service experiences We’ve ever had. There were 9 of us in our party and we hardly ever saw our waiter. After being seated, and he took our drink orders , we waited almost 15 minutes and finally had to ask him to take our food order. After that the really long wait started. Nearly 1 hour later, no sign of our food. We would see our waiter a couple of times walking by and eventually asked him about our food. Without making eye contact he would say, “I’ll go check “ but never come back to give us an update. We asked twice, and the second time, the same “I’ll go check” with no eye contact. He offered no apology either for the long wait time. He acted like he could care less that we were all obviously upset. Finally the food came out. I will admit, the food was tasty which is why I’m giving this review two stars instead of one. But after eating We had to wait again forever for the bill. After asking the waiter for the bill, it was another 15 minutes for the bill to finally arrive. By then we had all decided to give a low tip for this ridiculous service. Something none of us usually do. But then we found out that gratuity had been already included. This was infuriating as we all knew at that point why our waiter had provided such poor lazy service. He knew all along that he would be getting the same tip no matter what. I see others have left similar reviews about their large parties getting poor service and the restaurant has responded with a “thank you we will look into it”. Those reviews were months ago and obviously the restaurant has done nothing to fix this. I will never return to this place again. I will tell everyone I know not to go to this place.

We went to Uncle Julio’s for an adult birthday dinner. The decor was nice inside. Many dining rooms. The sitting arrangements were tight unless you are in booths. Not much room to move about between tables, bumping into back of chairs of other guests. Food wise, I ordered the Tex-Mex Combo (beef and chicken enchiladas and beef crispy taco) comes with rice and beans. This dish was average in taste. I put a bit of salsa on them. If you visit and have four or five people in your party, give the Chocolate Piñata a try. This was tasty and unique dessert. Margaritas were good, but pricey (>$12).

Except the location, everything starting from service, drinks and food were very mediocre. Not sure if the servers were understaffed but it seemed they were not very uninterested in providing good service. We order 4 entrees for our table. One of them was served quickly and the rest 3 were served after 15-20 minutes. It is a basic thing that all good is served at the same time so everyone on the table can enjoy it at the same time. Beware when paying they had this handheld device that they operated that the server kept on clicking and before I knew, I was forced to pay 25% gratuity for not so good service. Food was very mediocre. The rice and beans were low on flavour. Grilled chicken was the saving grace. Couple of drinks were good but overall experience was bad. Never coming back again.

Mexican food in a pleasant atmosphere, the taste was good, we order flour tortillas that did not disappoint us at all. The guacamole freshly prepared. I consider the salad with meat the most memorable. The service very good.

Beautiful day to enjoy the perfect weather and the Bark Bash Event. There were so many breeds of dogs strolling with their humans! My meal was delicious. I had enchiladas with rice & black beans in the outside patio area. Try the guacamole that's made at your table...it's awesome!

Best Tex Mex in town. Fajitas are awesome. Fresh meat and totila. Grilled veggies have great flavor. Uncle Julio is known for margaritas. Watermelon margarita is out of this world

Went there for a casual Dinner with family on Saturday. We reserved online so we got a table on time. They allow walk-in too but you need to wait at least an hour to get a table. It was a hot day so luckily we got a booth inside. Plenty of seating options available, both inside and outside. Food and service are amazing. Loved the tacos and quesadillas served with fresh guacamole. You should definitely try the mango margarita.

Food was great and the drinks were amazing and strong. Didn't like that when asked where we wanted to be seated, made our selection, then was directed somewhere else

This place is absolutely incredible! I had the best steak fajitas of my life. The steak was amazing and cooked perfectly, and the tortillas are obviously made from scratch. The coolest thing I had though, was a chocolate piñata. It is the perfect thing for a celebration! I give this place 10 out of 10! Ask for Lydia, she is so friendly and wonderful!

Enchiladas and Burrito bowl were very fresh and tasty. Spicy Margarita is a good companion for the fresh meal.

Good food but wish they had better vegetarian and seafood options for kids meal. Not sure why they only do burritos for take out orders. Our hostess was nice and service was good. Only like coming here for their guacamole and chocolate piñata

Uncle Julio is starting to disappoint me. Food was good, but the menu changed. I missed having the chicken honey chipotle entree on the menu. The drinks were good. Surprisingly, it was not busy on a Friday. Dead.

My GF and I love eating chips with queso and guac. The chips are thin but almost always fresh. The salsa is sooo good. The guac is kinda expensive for the serving amount. But still worth it. Last night we had the 3 tacos one chicken one beef one steak, with a hard fried shell. Love this place. We were in and out in 30 mins. Child friendly place.

I attended with a group of folks for my wife's birthday and had a great time. The place was very busy but the service was outstanding. Great food and drinks. I know that this place has had issues in the past but I am hoping that they have gotten their act together now.

Recently had dinner at Uncle Julio’s, the atmosphere was great. The food was wonderful. We had an amazing experience with our server Gabriel. He got our order right, it came fast and perfect. The manager Travis was also very hospitable, and asked if we were happy and content with our food. Definitely would recommend and will be back again. Great staff, and amazing atmosphere . Thank you very much.

Everything was delicious. So fresh. Great taste. Service was great. Atmosphere was great. Enjoyed everything we had. Will definitely be back!

Our office team enjoyed Christmas lunch. Let me say, one of the order got delayed but they made up with a cool gesture, our two birthday colleagues were delighted.

1st time here. The service was great! Friendly, courteous, and ready to serve. Drinks 🍸 fantastic..had the blueberry margarita - did not disappoint! Fresh guacamole prep at the table was very good and well seasoned. The presentation of the meal was nice. I was looking forward to my meal, carnita tacos, and white rice. Sadly, they were disappointing. However, the side of black beans was good. White rice was dry, I think Chipotle is better. Carnitas are supposed to be juicy, tender, and have a special flavor. Mine were dry and flavorless. Tortillas were good, though. Oh... and they have no flan? I hope, maybe next time will be better?

Have not visited an Uncle Julio’s I haven’t liked. Always great food and service. Love the flaming fajitas! Everyone that goes seems to have a great time there. One of these days we need to try the chocolate piñata. This visit…like usual - great attentive service, food came out hot and quickly.

It was our first visit to Uncle Julio over the weekend. The vibe and atmosphere were great. Our server, Somer, was very welcoming, patient, and friendly. The service was quick, and food was tasty. Overall a good experience. 👍

Marvin is an excellent server!!! I have many business dinners with large groups, and service at most places is usually mediocre at best… but not with Marvin. He provided excellent service! The food was also fantastic and I loved the blackberry margarita. The team sat us, a party of 12, within minutes of arriving. Great job to all that made our dinner with you wonderful!!

Our first time here…… are you really serious??! Come on……. if you look for great customer service and great hot food - our experience sucked….. I am extremely sad! My tacos cold, my husband’s enchiladas cold, called the manager, got the food re-made - even more cold….. I am furious

Our first visit and it was a good one. We started with some delicious margaritas along with some chips and salsa. For our main course we had enchiladas and the other couple had the fajitas. Both meals were very tasty. Definitely a keeper.
