Very underwhelmed sadly. My flight got in at 1030 pm and thank goodness I called the hotel to ensure they could get me some food - because the only place serving food was closing! It took 10 min to get them to understand I needed them to make me something while I taxied over. How is this a business airport hotel. The evening lady when I checked I. was extremely rude. No apologies about not having anywhere to fill my water bottle, no vending machines, not even a bottle of water or things to buy in the room minibar. The room was the same as any regular Hyatt - however I found two beer bottle caps beside the bed so closely had not been cleaned. Certainly not worth the $200+ I paid for the room. They daytime lady the next morning was much nicer.

Underwhelming for a Hyatt Regency. This one was inconsistent with others I've visited. Breakfast buffet hot food was barely lukewarm but the selection of fruit and cold cuts were good. I personally didn't enjoy the coffee. Room was clean but felt pretty crammed for a king bed on a high floor. Bed was comfortable and the view was nice. Front desk service was fine but restaurant service was a bit lacking. Tolerable for one night passing through as it's close to the airport but otherwise not much more than that.

It's a newer building and everything is nice. my room was great, the price was great. the only downside was the location of the room, across from the indoor gym and pool. there was a lot of foot traffic and chatter right outside the room till late at night and starting very early in the morning. at checkout the receptionist gave me some points to compensate for this issue.

You’re only paying for the location convenience. Nice hotel but not the cleanest. There were random stains on the walls. All the pillows plus the bed topper were down/feather. I’m allergic to feathers, but thankfully there was an extra blanket and polyester pillow near the ironing board and hangers. Didn’t notice til after opening the water bottle they charge $3 for it. What kind of hotel charges for clean drinking water? The hotel room quality isn’t much different from cheaper hotels and the breakfast buffet is not included in the room fees either. Honestly, probably a complete waste of money to stay here, regardless how close to the airport.

Clean, convenient, and well managed. These days, it's hard to predict what you'll get from a hotel that was traditionally great pre- pandemic. The service was friendly, rooms were reasonably clean, and we were treated to a view of the planes from Dulles taking off and landing from our room. Queen rooms had an ample seating area which was an unexpected surprise. We ate dinner and breakfast there - it was at a traditional business hotel price point and with a lack of restaurants in walking distance, performed well. When taking off for an early flight from Dulles, I would definitely stay here again.

I recently had the pleasure of dining with my family at the Hyatt Regency Dulles and I must say, the experience was nothing short of amazing. And much of that can be credited to the exceptional restaurant manager, Paul. From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, Paul's warm and welcoming demeanor made me feel right at home. He greeted me with a genuine smile and made sure I had a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience. Paul's attention to detail was truly impressive. He not only ensured that every table was impeccably set, but he also personally checked in on each guest to ensure their needs were met. What impressed me the most about Paul was his ability to handle every situation with grace and professionalism. Whether it was managing a busy morning rush or addressing a special request, my brother’s favorite pancakes. Overall, my experience at the Hyatt Regency Dulles was made memorable by the exceptional service provided by Paul. His dedication to his role as a restaurant manager was evident in every aspect of my dining experience. I would highly recommend visiting this hotel restaurant and experiencing Paul's impeccable service firsthand.

If you want a comfortable stay near Dulles Airport, then this hotel is definitely worth considering. They have modern amenities to ensure a pleasant experience. The hotel facilities, including a gym, pool, meeting rooms and dining option were good. Overall this hotel is a great choice for anyone looking for somewhere to rest during a long layover or delayed flight.

Nice decent hotel. Don't expect much 4 days interval housekeeping. Fortunately I was using my own toiletries. Breakfast definitely lacks varieties. The gym was good and quite sizeable. Love its proximity to the Dulles Airport. The room was nice, but lightnings were a little too dim, else the room was great. Bathrobe, in-room slippers, and kettle were not by default, please remember to ask for them.

Wonderful staff and clean rooms, very spacious. My only complaint was the curtains wouldn’t close all the way over the window so early in the morning the sun poked it’s pretty head in and woke me up. Also the doors in the hallway are kinda thin and the doors close pretty hard if you don’t guide them shut. Maybe a spring loaded closing mechanism to help ease it shut during early morning hours.

Room looked nothing like the pictures. Very old and dated. No soaps or other toiletries in the bathrooms. Had to call twice only to get a single car soap for 4 guests. Had to walk to the front desk to get more. Breakfast buffet at 22$ was pricey with very limited menu. Definitely not staying here again !!

The room was well laid out and the meeting center was nice. Otherwise, I was unimpressed. I checked in late and went to bed. When I woke up, I saw there were crackers by the couch (not mine) and a giant bra left in the closet (also not mine). The little complimentary soaps/lotions were all half empty. The hotel restaurant was mediocre at best. I got a burger that was dry and the “ketchup” with my fries was straight up tomato sauce. I recommend finding somewhere else to stay.

The rooms are huge! They actually look just like the pictures online. I was not used to having to pay for parking after paying $200 for a hotel, but I guess that's the norm around the area. I gave the service 3 stars because we ate in the hotel restaurant and it was the worst service I have ever received. She took our order and disappeared. Another waitress brought us water, I had to go to the bar to get my bar beverage, the other waitress brought our food after what seemed like a long wait for a wedge salad and sliders (there were only 2 other people eating). We had to flag her down to get a water refill and flag her down to get our check. Everything else was great though, rooms are comfortable, extremely clean, and the front desk staff were very friendly.

My first experience with Hyatt was nothing short of delightful - the room exceeded expectations in terms of comfort and cleanliness, while staff members were kind and courteous. What's more convenient is its proximity to the airport only seven minutes away! I am truly grateful for this stay at Hyatt; count on me returning again soon.

HRD is the best hotel in the area. You can't find a better location close to the airport but far enough to not be bothered by the noise. The airport shuttles are brand new and run very often. The lobby is amazing and spacious. The rooms are spotless and the staff is outstanding. The breakfast buffet is a great value and has a large variety of items. The event space is 30k Sq. Ft of beautiful possibility. Hyatt Regency Dulles is a must visit for airport stays and special events.

The rooms were very nice and organized. I was staying for a school trip and was only in the room for 2 nights but it was great, the only thing that made me question the hospitality was the front desk. I had kindly asked for extra towels because we only had one and the lady just gave me attitude. My roommates even said it was kinda hostile. The breakfast was very good though, the pancakes were my favorite. But it was a great stay and I would totally recommend it!

Our room was clean, comfortable, and the staff had taken the time to ensure we had enough items for our group. The bathroom is a closet but it had a real door so that was a plus. The restaurant downstairs had a great menu and service, so this place is an easy choice for an airport hotel. Would stay again.

This is a nice hotel worth staying in again. Though the room was a cramped, dark-walled rectangular, with a toilet too low and close to the shower, it had a couple nice features. The desk was well placed and the couch was comfortable. The room had a defined living room and bedroom, with the rooms well separated with a half-wall and large TV mounted to it that easily turned to face the living room or the bedroom. The fitness room looked good, but I did not see the pool. The hotel staff was fantastic from front desk to housekeeping. The food was just OK. We had a little indigestion from their evening buffet, which may have been due to eating too much. I would not dine at the hotel in the future. The court yard was great, and I loved the flowering crape myrtle tree there.

As a category 1 Hyatt we were very very impressed. The rooms and lobby were in good shape and nicely kept. We had helpful staff every time we needed something. The breakfast was good etc. There were some conferences going on in the attached conference center during our stay, so it seems to keep fairly busy. The fitness center and pool were smaller but nice, all three elevators were working all the time and housekeeping would bring items we requested fairly quickly. The parking was very convenient and always had a few open spaces. Im guessing the reason they're not a higher category is the slightly outdated decor like florals and the dining area, and the bathroom showed signs of aging and poor ventilation. With bathroom remodels and a dining area refresh, this property could certainly command a higher price. It was a nice stay so we will be back in the future.

I booked with the Hyatt for my wedding. The rooms were awesome, and the location was perfect for family flying into Dulles airport because they have a shuttle that goes right to the hotel. They were also surprising affordable for a Hyatt location. There were a number of youth sports tournaments going on, so the hotel was packed with children running all over the hotel. Although there were a number of complaints about the behavior of the athletes, the hotel made sure to accommodate the other guests at the hotel as best as they could. I would recommend this hotel to anybody!

The staff is very friendly. Rooms are clean. The conference rooms are great. Big updates, equipment seemed to be smoothly running. I'd stay here again for the great staff and location near the airport. It's also pretty quiet even when multiple other events were being held in different areas. The lounge area was nice too. A friend said the food was good.

Convenient place to stay near Dulles. Airport shuttle runs throughout the day and night. Knocking off one star because the breakfast food and service wasn't the best. Will stay again. Edit: breakfast service has improved. Ana was very attentive and friendly. Revising to 5 stars.

I hadn't stayed at a Hyatt property for quite a while, but during a recent business trip, I opted for the nearest hotel recommended by the company, given its proximity to the office. Before arriving, I completed the check-in process and requested a room with a bathtub through the chat feature. The representative was friendly, though, unfortunately, my Hilton Diamond and Marriott Platinum status didn't yield any special accommodations. However, it didn't affect my impression of this hotel, as I understood my request was a long shot. Upon arrival, the hotel appeared well-maintained and contemporary. I checked in promptly to obtain my breakfast voucher and confirm the parking arrangements. I noted that they charged $15 per day for parking, but fortunately, my corporate rate covered both breakfast and parking. Most of the newly renovated rooms only offered showers, so I was assigned a room that seemed a bit dated. Nevertheless, the room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the soundproofing satisfactory. I appreciated the central AC in the room, which is a must for a peaceful night's sleep. I typically avoid hotels with individual window AC units due to their noise and temperature control issues. However, there were a few aspects that could be improved: 1. The breakfast buffet was priced at $22, offering a variety of choices, but I probably wouldn't have chosen it if it weren't included in my rate. 2. The elevators often had longer-than-expected wait times. One day they arrived promptly, while on the next, I waited for 5 minutes. 3. The internet speed was notably slower at night, likely due to many guests returning and streaming. 4. The absence of a "Smart TV" in the room caught my attention. Such a feature is increasingly important in hotel rooms nowadays. In conclusion, this hotel offered a nice, clean, and convenient place to stay. Addressing these areas for improvement could enhance the overall guest experience.

The staff and crew at the hotel were very friendly and accommodating. Front Desk staff person Talia was an excellent customer service representative that you get get often these days. She helped me avoid a lengthy checkout and re-checkin process because I had to extend my trip. Our room was clean and the air conditioning worked well. So well we had to turn it off a few times, but it didn’t take long to chill the room when reactivated. I had to request extra blankets and pillows one day and they were brought right away. It’s was not a long wait, housekeeping was quick. The lobby’s atmosphere is relaxed. You can use the computer, lounge on couches, work at a long table, or sit in the many sitting areas offered. I didn’t use the gym or pool, but I walked though and they were clean and open. I also loved the fact that there was a parking lot on the premises. Do do pay for parking, but at least it’s not a hike to a garage or a few blocks away. I would stay at this hotel again when in the area.
