I don’t recommend this place. There’s many other places in this area that do this. I’ve gotten lash extensions many times at other places and had a very different experience and they usually lasted a good 2 weeks looking like new and max 4 weeks before they needed to be redone. I went here to get lashes done a week before my wedding. These lashes started to fall very very very quickly a few days after I left. I followed all the advices they give for taking care of your lashes. But they still fell. I had to get single lashes myself and even them out for the wedding. Now I’m on my honeymoon with completely patchy lashes and more lashes are falling all the time. Really horrible experience. Also, on their website they said I would be charged $180 but when I was paying I was asked to pay ~$240-250. These were the most expensive and the least lasting lashes over ever had.

I was absolutely blown away by my experience at Mynx! Ricky was honest, attentive and talented! I’d never had my lashes lifted nor tinted before, and Ricky was great at explaining what I could expect with such short lashes. Rather than over-promising his honesty was appreciated because he actually over-delivered and I was so surprised with how well they turned out! The store was beautiful inside, and the staff very friendly! Having your eyes shut for over an hour can be daunting but Ricky kept checking in to see if I was ok. Amazing experience, well-priced and I cannot wait to be back!

Their Job is absolutely Awesome!!!!! Every one there is friendly and the Owner is always answering my questions and concerns at any time of the day. The artists are all sweet and very welcoming. I have recommended this place to friends and family many times because It is a truly reliable place. Thank you Layla and your team for the great satisfying experience every time.

Best lashes in the DMV! I went to Iceland where the winds were 25-30 mph and was afraid my lashes would come off. When I got back to the hotel and brushed them out, NOT A SINGLE HAIR FELL OFF! Mynx lashes are strong and durable through it all! Most definitely recommend them, you wont be disappointed. The owners, Layla and Ricky, are both super sweet and passionate about their work. I’ve been getting my lashes done by Layla for over a year now and I’m obsessed. I can never go back to not having lashes. She’s extremely talented, knowledgeable, patient and always has you feeling so good about yourself when you leave. My lashes never feel heavy and usually get them filled every 3-4 weeks. The studio itself is really cute and cozy. Always clean and ready to go!

I have to say my 1st time experience was like a roller coaster. My appointment was deferred twice which makes me very upset in the beginning, but even all the wait was worth it. I had my best eye lash done ever. Layla is definitely the best Lash Technician I've ever met, I am glad I gave them a try. She is very professional, with unbelievable work ethics (drive to studio at 9pm and have my lash done at mid-night in order to make up my appointment). I love the result of my volume eye-lash, beautiful job!! I will definitely coming back.

The owners are extremely passionate about their craft and customer service! Layla has been my lash artist from extensions and lifts for 5+ years now. She takes careful consideration to my wants and customizes to elevate my eye shape (asian almond eyes). My lashes never feel heavy and doesn’t shed easily/holds on tight. The new location in North Bethesda feels more cozy and zen! It is in an office building (3rd floor to the left off the elevator) across from White Flint. There’s a parking garage but it is $3 for the first 2 hours (afair?). I may try street parking next time (the area uses Park Mobile app which mayyyy be a tad cheaper than the garage parking).

Edit: Speaking to the amazing retention my lashes had. I know everyone is different. My hair grows pretty fast, but my lashes still looked amazing after 3 1/2 weeks! I kept up with the lash bath and making sure to brush them, but it is amazing that they still looked amazing after 3 1/2 weeks! Very, very impressed! First time customer and I just got my lashes done with Layla. I cannot express enough how amazing she is as a lash artist. I used to go to a different business, but I never felt as valued as a customer as I did here. Also was never happy with how the other business did my lashes. So I left them and decided to try Mynx. Layla just understands how to make your lash dreams a reality. I have a monolid and my eyes are almond shape, and her attention to detail, ensuring my lashes were complete and that I was completely happy with how they looked is the reason I will always go to her. She made sure that my lashes were up to her professional standard, as well as mine. I got my lashes done for my engagement photos and will go back to her for when I get married. It is worth every single penny and I cannot explain enough that if you want someone to do lashes for you, MYNX & INKX is the place 👏🏼 to 👏🏼 go!!! Also looking at other reviews, for payment I paid half the price as a deposit and that went towards my total balance. I think it is smart to have a deposit as most places do. It’s the responsibility of the customer to cancel or change appts if they cannot make it.

I went here for the first time today and got my brows microbladed and a lash lift. I cannot speak highly enough about both Layla and Ricky. Layla was so thorough and meticulous. She ensured I was happy and comfortable every step of the way. Ricky was equally kind and careful. I was blown away by my results from both treatments and left feeling amazing. Worth every penny, I will definitely be a repeat customer.
