Señor Tequila's Ashburn

Restaurant Mexican restaurant Bar and grill

👍👍 I originally didn't plan to come to this restaurant until I found it while parking. The service was great. I have eaten Mexican food on a regular basis and I will say this is very authentic. The horchata is spot on and not watered down despite it being $4; And the chips are served fresh. When I got... People often mention good, great, restaurant, parking, service, nice, ordered,

I originally didn't plan to come to this restaurant until I found it while parking. The service was great. I have eaten Mexican food on a regular basis and I will say this is very authentic. The horchata is spot on and not watered down despite it being $4; And the chips are served fresh. When I got my order (Poblanas), I was expecting the mole on top of the enchiladas to be spicy. Sadly it wasn't. However, it doesn't take away how great my meal was. I definitely recommend this place to folks on business trips looking for Hispanic food. The taste is close to street food without the annoying fly buzzing around.

The food here is tasty. I like how the steak is very juicy along with cheese and other veggies. Having churros at the end is a perfect conclusion to my lunch. This restaurant has great vibe and colorful decorations which makes me feel like I’m attending festivals. Besides, the staff is very nice and welcoming. Will definitely come back again!

Visited senor tequila's for the first time for a casual lunch. The restaurant is a well decorated quaint, and modern set up. While service was unsatisfactory even during a week day lunch with below average traffic, the food was good. Tried the chicken jambalaya which was high on flavor and good textures. The diablo sauce is a hit.

The food is pretty good, the service is solid, but the parking sucks. The food is filling and the portions are a good size. I decided to venture into the seafood enchiladas and I am pleased to say that they were well packed. The table wobbled. The tables are made of wood. They are lovely but they probably need some tightening. I tucked the edge of my shoe under it but that isn't the best option out there. Still, I'd eat on a wobbling table again. With the metro open, make sure that you pay attention to where you are parking. A lot of the parking has been converted to paid or resident and the street parking is two hours. If you can walk, just walk and enjoy the stroll. Ashburn is an area where people drive so parking is part of the review here due to location.

Strangest beef tacos I have ever had. The meat had no seasoning but had peas and corn in it. Very bland. Server was very friendly and attentive to our table.

Pretty nice place. Chimichonga was amazing and the homemade sauce tops it off. That was my 1st time having it....I actually just finished eating one from another place near my house and let me tell you..it doesn't come close to senor tequilas . I would go there again but it's about 1.5hr from where I live. The waitress was nice but she stopped my about 20 times which makes it feel more like letting you know you need to leave. I'm sure that wasn't her intent though.

Stopped after a day trip to DC. Basically, not so good. My food was mostly cold and not a lot of flavor. The chips were great though but the salsa not so much. My friend had a frozen Margarita and said it was very good. Don’t think, I’ll be going back unless it was just for drinks and chips.

The food was very good. However, wait time was below average during lunch, on a weekend, with 4 other tables. The place was empty, and expectation was 10-15min, and it pushed 30 min. I would recommend coming and trying. This might have been a one-off situation. There is plenty of free parking. Other shops and restaurants within walking distance.

The outdoor tables are fun for having a beer and appetizers after a metro ride before going home. I haven't tried their entrees yet, but the chips with trio dip are yummy. And they have a good IPA on tap. Very nice wait staff.

I always like trying new places, but this was a bad experience. ordered fajitas they were aweful chicken looked like it was colored with orange dye and tasted rubbery. when i arrived a saw the curbside pickup sign so i called the girl that answered said come in to get it and hung up. I ordered 30 minutes before I arrived online and then waited another 20 min in lobby because food wasnt prepared. Worse part food wasnt good

We go here for Cinco de Mayo most years. The food is good. And the service is always good. If the weather is nice sit outside. You won't be disappointed.

Best Mexican restaurant around! We’ve been coming for the past year at least once a week. Authentic food and great service. Shout out to Mario, Jesus, and Sarai who always take care of us

First time at this location, I ended up ordering takeout as I had had a work event nearby and really just wanted to get home. I ordered the seafood chimichanga, and oh my God it was good! Scallops and shrimps cooked perfectly and pure deliciousness! I have no complaints about my order! I only wish I lived closer so I could go here more often!

My boyfriend and I passed by the restaurant in the morning and decided to give it a try for dinner! The service was great. And the food was amazing. I ordered the skinny margarita, corn, and the other plate which is served in a hot stone bowl. The food tasted so good and authentic!

Nice location, beautiful decor, good food, Service was not. When ordering from menu double check is correct may have to pay for a drink or meal that’s not described. FYI EL DIABLO means Jalapeños according to the staff.

We crush Mexican food restaurants and this is always our favorite. Mainly because the food is consistently good and the quality is always pretty high. I've never had a bad margarita and that's how I measure a restaurant. If it comes loaded with sour mix, the food normally ends up being sub par. I normally go for the Cadillac or Gold Margaritas and they make them great here. Love the salsa dip and the atmosphere. Servers are always quick and friendly. Love the cute little patio out front.

A cute ambiance, almost a museum, with great murals. However, the food was really bad. We ordered the Chilaquiles and they were not good, the salsa tasted store bought. This is pretty much the same quality of most Tex-Mex Restaurants in the area. Supposedly, the owner is from México but this is far from the quality of food that you find in México. I suggest he takes a trip home to rediscover how to make proper Mexican dishes. Tips for improvement, just buy some fresh ingredients and make a good salsa. I can send you a recipe. Chilaquiles and Nachos are not the same. We will not be coming back.

We love Senor Tequila’s for the food and the delicious happy hour frozen margaritas! Shown below are Mango, Blackberry, Strawberry and Lime. It’s our go to Mexican restaurant. Every meal we try is so great. We’ve tried other places and none are as good as Senor Tequila’s. Adding a photo of their Arroz Con Pollo (I had them hold the cilantro and pineapple that comes with it). It was so delicious!!! Just added the Garden Fajitas! We love, love, love this restaurant!

The food is always good here; my favorite items are the jambalaya burrito & the grilled Chimichangas. The table side quac is always perfect 😍 the staff is always nice & helpful. The drinks are good. My favorite place in the area.
