Been coming here since it opened. The quality during all of our visits has been consistent and delicious. Aside from the scallion bubble pancake, we've ordered a wide variety of dishes. This isn't a cookie cutter Chinese restaurant. The spice can be very real depending on your sensitivity to peppers. It isn't an inexpensive experience, but for us it's always been good. Parking isn't exactly convenient but a short walk finds choices in county lots and a little street parking. Overall we've enjoyed ourselves.

Awesome experience. The food and service were excellent. We ordered soup and followed by fish and chicken with red chilli. All dishes were well made and to our liking. We have been a client of Peter Chang for over a decade and love that Q is now closer to our house in Bethesda. Lisa, the manager, was extremely helpful and it was a pleasure to meet again. We will surely visit the restaurant again and very soon.

The food was delicious. We ordered a whole fish and seafood fried rice. We love the fish, it was very tasty. We accompanied the meal with a Jazmine tea. The service was very great, as well. We will definitely be back.

Excellent Peking Duck and I can’t say I’ve ever had a better shrimp dumpling. We went for a late lunch on a Thursday which was nice and quiet. Server was pleasant and interior beautiful. We would love to come back.

One of the best authentic upscale Chinese restaurants I tried at US. We ordered half Peking duck, 2 pork potstickers(kids loved them), 过江牛 (super spicy beef in soup with tofu), and rib/lotus root soup, 2 strawberry mochi desserts. Every dish had great presentation and taste. My favorite was the lotus root soup, so rich and satisfying.

We enjoyed Q by Peter Chang very much..... we had 3 appetizers(Scallion Puffed Pancake, Lettuce Wraps and Shrimp Dumplings) 1 side dish(Green Beans) and 3 main dish dishes(3 Pepper Beef, Mongolian Chicken and Sweet & Sour Pork). ALL of which we liked very much!! The service was excellent, setting clean and nicely decorated, the food was flavorful, well presented and good sized servings!!!

The food was fantastic, get the Peking duck, sichuan Chicken, and the green beans all those dishes are phenomenal. The sichuan chicken is spicy but not crazy, the green beans are tender and full of flavor and you can't go wrong with the Peking duck. Making the Peking duck rolls was great. You can add in whatever you'd like. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future.

The food is tasty and well tailored for people’s palates. Whether it’s authentic really depends on what you order. Would recommend this place for Chinese food!

Good food, service and price!! Would like to visit again if go back to the area. Love it! A true Chinese food. Not American Chinese food. Me and my boyfriend are from Asia, and this reminds us our hometown! Highly recommend.

Peter Chang is truly a master of the Szechuan pepper. The tingling pepper adds a unique flavor profile to both the traditional Chinese dishes offered at Q and the innovative, modern dishes they specialize in. We started with the vegetable dumplings and the dry-fried eggplant. The dumplings were delicious and the eggplant "sticks" were spicy with a crunchy outside and creamy center. For entrees we had the Mapo Tofu, which was tingling from the Szechuan peppers but the tofu was on the soft and mushy side. That was our least favorite dish. We also had the Three Peppers Beef, which was out favorite. It was hot- but my wife who can't handle super hot, was able to enjoy it. We had a third dish, in case the beef was too spicy for my wife, the Xian Style Lamb Yopo Noodle- a little on the dry side but very delicious. With a beer, a lemon drop martini, and an extra rice, the total was $118 before tip. We'll definitely be back to Q next time we're in Bethesda.

We heard great things about this restaurant and we’re NOT disappointed! We got to try really unique dishes that had interesting sauces, such as numbing sauce. Food was amazing and the cocktails were a must try!

Just had lunch there and everything was delicious. The highlight ( and the reason we came) were the Wuhan noodles, which I have been searching for, for 16 years, since I left China after spending a year there. So thank you Mr. Chang, we will be back!!

Classic menu item was really good (5 star). But the rest of it was eh (3 star). Nothing about it felt special or unique.

"Expensive, but very good." I took my wife and kids (3/6) here to celebrate my father-in-law's birthday. This was our 2nd or 3rd time at the restaurant, but first time in a long time. The waiters seem to be general coverage, rather than specific to a table. This was incredibly helpful for getting someone to attend quickly. The food and drinks came out fast. We ordered several dishes, including pork dumplings, bubble cake, wagyu lo mein, egg fried rice, a large soup, and a fish dish. I also ordered a long Island iced tea. Save for the soup, which was good but not great, all the food was excellent. The wagyu beef was cooked perfectly and tasted great. Even the fried rice was noticeably better than other Chinese restaurants. The only problem is that it is expensive. The meal was about $220, averaging out to over $40/person. Not bad until you consider two of them are under 7 years old. The long Island iced tea was good, but it was in a skinny glass with ice and was $15. I guess that's the price of North Bethesda. I take my family to Peter Chang's Rockville Town Square location often. While the food at Q is better, the overall value is probably better at the Rockville spot.

This was a surprising find but the food was delicious! The menu can be a bit daunting since the dishes are not your usual Chinese dishes. We ordered the cumin shrimp which was really tasty and the shredded beef with pepper. They were both great and we’ll definitely be coming back.

Came here for a date night between my girlfriend & I a few weeks back and have been meaning to return to write them a glowing review. From the atmosphere to the service to the food, everything was near perfect. The place was nicely lit, decorated, and very clean. I mean come on, being Chinese & seeing the crowd that was in there, I just knew it was going to be good. The food came out hot & fast and everything tasted amazing. Server was attentive, checked on us consistently, and made sure that we were good. Would 100% recommend to anyone considering!

Food is pretty descent, the fish cake soup and du fried eggplant were really good. Parking can be kind of a pain and to be honest it’s a little expensive but overall the quality of food was still really good.

Excellent food. Not like the other Chinese restaurants. Dishes are more flavorful and less oily. We ordered egg fried rice, steamed dumplings and black bean pork and all were very delicious. I loved the experience.
