My wife needs the Enoxaparin blood thinner for her serious surgery had today pharmacy had medication but the employee Erica said "We don't have it until Monday next 4 days", do you think so patient could survive for this long time? I checked with Megan Vu to get it from other locations, she checked the cumputer and find out the medicine is available, that was very ignorant from Erica the way she serves the customer.. I tried to call to customer service to report this matter unfortunately I could reach only call center located outside of US We need better service towards our medicine by Safeway I hope corporate office Care .

It was late afternoon when an elderly male cashier shooed my daughter and I away at the register. He scowled at us, used his hands to shoo us off and wagged a finger side to side to say no and pointed up. Did he think we are hearing impaired or did he assume we don’t speak English? He was speaking perfectly clear and cheerfully to the white customers he was ringing up. He was completely rude and and an embarrassment to himself. I’m not one to pull the race card but I see no logical reason for his ridiculous behavior. There were no other cashiers and we had a full cart of groceries. This is very unfortunate because the area looks to be predominantly Hispanic, Asian and Arab. I hope he isn’t treating customers this way. We just moved here and usually love Safeway stores. A nice young girl wearing a hijab saw us at the self check out was kind enough to check our groceries and tried her best to lie that he was going to break, which he didn’t because as we walked past him on our way out, he was checking groceries for a new customer who also happened to be white. It’s 2022 and I am shocked to see this behavior. Disgusted actually

High price, medium quality. Go to Wegmans. The COVID pandemic they had the test line at the pharmacy right in the middle of the store and winding around the aisles so I won't go back.

I've been shopping at the Sterling location for long enough to recognize the employees and find everything I need without directions. One time I asked for some products they didn't stock and they ordered a case just for me. I love it! This Valentine's day they went all out, I've never seen a store decorated like that before. Great Job guys! Small town feel with everything I need.

Bathroom was absolutely revolting to the point that I just walked out. Many of the items I looked at on shelves were expired. Sub sandwich I got has significantly less on it than at other Safeways I’ve been to.

Nice Safeway, Friendly, helpful employees. Very helpful and knowledgeable pharmacist. Lots of parking. Good meat selection and great produce department. Significantly more expensive than other local food stores.

Had a bad experience with customer service desk and the person who supposed to service customer is not willing to provide any service. I had to drop the return item which I had ordered online and also submitted request online where the online customer support asked me to drop the return item in the nearby store to get the full refund. I went to drop ordered item with the delivery package open but the product items are not open as usually when we return then we drop the item only but not packaging them. I got the supplies to pack and after packing when i approached service desk then the same person scanned the USPS barcode on the original package and told me that she can’t accept the return. I was keep telling her that I had paced the return online and having reference case id for the return but she was not interested to listen me. When I approached online service desk they refunded because the item is not accepted in store. Customer service desk is supposed to serve their customer but had bad experience then whats the use of customer support. She should had helped me to find the online order or online return request reference no and look after any of their resources to support but she didn’t done anything which wasted my time and energy

Neighborhood is a bit sketchy to be honest. Plus the hours posted aren't actually the hours for the store. Saturday they close before 9pm even though it says 11pm.

I am always shopping at safeway. The prices isn't bad. I went to purchase an Orajel product and when I got home and opened it, there is no product inside. 🙃 I feel bad honestly. Hopefully you guys can check on these section a bit more. There was no sign of it opened before. I just grabbed it, not attentive that there is no weight to it. Other than this it's a nice place to shop. I also which there were more options for vegetarian pastry available in the bakery section. Seems like they all contained eggs.

This is for the Starbucks in Safeway. I waddled my pregnant self into the Safeway because its cold and I just wanted tea. As soon as I walk up to the counter at 12:48, I see a sign that they were closing today from 1pm-3pm. A guy who i’m guessing is a manager then tapes a second sign at the counter as I’m standing there so i go “are you guys closed now?” I mean they had 12 more minutes. He says “yeahhh sorryy” and I ask “oh how come?” really just curious as most Starbucks seem to be closed for remodeling or just closed randomly. And he completely ignored me just said “sorry” and walked away. I can live with the inconvenience of closing but it seemed pretty petty to just ignore me before it was even 1pm.

Good selection of fresh deli foods you buy by the pound. Great broccoli dishes and pasta.

I needed a cupcake cake for my son’s 13th birthday and called the bakery 2 days before. Linh was very knowledgeable and helpful on the phone and gave excellent service. Margo made a beautiful soccer cupcake cake of what I exactly envisioned. My son and all his friends loved it. Bakery staff was very kind when I came to pick up the cake. Thank you to Linh, Margo, and the bakery team for excellent customer service and a beautifully designed (and tasty) cupcake cake! Bravo!

Disappointed in this store. I purchased shrimp and two watermelons and all 3 items were rotten/spoiled. Simply a waste of money and very overpriced. Not worth risking it again. I won't go back.

Facts are enough for any review. I believe Safeway and Giant are in a race to see which one of them can sell the same product more expansive. For example , Amy's vegetable frozen lasagna I buy for almost five dollars and at these stores is almost eight dollars a piece. And plain yogurt of same brand at least a dollar more expansive here than the other place I buy at. And some or most of these you must buy two of these to even land at the high price they charge anyway. Or pay more for one. Same goes for almost every product in these two brand name stores. I will try to avoid these stores at all costs in future. Like it or not these are the facts.

Great store! Friendly and helpful employees. Fresh meat and fish. Neat and clean as well as fresh produce. Really great bakery as well. I was given a really yummy freshly baked m&m cookie to taste and ended up buying a bag of them.

I'm almost always impressed most Safeway stores are willing to work with the community and this one was no exception I was early morning and my one complaint was that the services were not ready for me yet lol

I'm not sure why I like this place but I do. I used to shop here 20 years ago when I lived in Sterling. They always have what I'm looking for. The Starbucks inside probably has a great influence on my decision to shop here.

I called both the day before yesterday and yesterday to ask whether dairy-free cakes were sold and that, if so, whether they were in stock. Through both calls, I constantly reiterated I was looking for dairy-free cakes so as to leave zero room for miscommunication. The employee I spoke to assured me both times that, yes, they did sell said cakes—but that they were exclusively ice cream cakes. This was fine for me. During the second call, I even asked him to double check the bakery to confirm they were in stock before I ventured out to pick one up. Not only did he assure me they were in stock, but that there were plenty. I arrived 2.5 hours later. I asked an employee to guide me to said cakes as I was having trouble locating them in the bakery. It turns out there were none. Seeing that he was having trouble locating them himself, I asked if he had any idea who I may have spoken to on the phone earlier at around 4:30. It was himself. Safeway does not and did not sell lactose free cakes at all. I pointed out to him that he confirmed with me several times during those two phone calls that they sold dairy-free cakes. He apologized claiming he must have misunderstood me on the phone. I drove to Sterling Park for absolutely nothing and it was far too late to go to Whole Foods. I spent an extra 30 minutes desperately scrambling around the store to look for alternatives and eventually gave up and spent much more than planned or necessary to make up for everything. I was late and my birthday surprise plans were in utter ruin.

I needed a record replaced from a different Safeway pharmacy, and the pharmacist here was very kind, understanding, and efficient. Much appreciated!

I went in to get a couple of things for lunch first of all there was nobody in the store to help me because I couldn't find something second all of the self checkout machines were all closed and third when I put my phone number in the girl didn't enter it properly and then I ended up paying more than what I should have I will not go back to Safeway terrible experience not to mention all of their items are priced way too high $2.29 for a single bottle of Coke

Very clean store, customer service is OK. Some days I'll get greated some days I won't. The prices of the fruits are a hit or miss. I'm not familiar with the area so I'm testing each store on their prices during these crazy times of 2022. For my necessities this is my store for eggs, milk and bread.

I have been shopping at Safeway for over 40 years. There stores are clean and fresh. The employees are friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking and wheelchair friendly. They follow covid protocol. Pick up and go is super. Delivery service is the best.
