I came here for the Kai Raberd (minced pork and deep fried egg over rice) and was one of the most delicious dish I’ve ever had! I can’t believe there weren’t any reviews about it! Had to mention it for the locals. Thai people know this restaurant for this specific dish but non-Thai like me would have never known. You’re welcome.

I've eaten here twice, but would eat here daily if they were closer. Their crispy salmon is beyond amazing. The portions are slightly small (comparing it to places where you eat half and take the rest home because they give you so much), but the taste is just well worth it. The service was fine and reasonable. You order at the front and they bring it out to you. The atmosphere was also fine--not crazy fancy, but definitely not a dive either. I will definitely be going back.

I just ordered here for the second time today. The Tom yum soup was so delicious that I’m getting it for dinner as well as lunch lol. The grilled beef salad was great too. I love Thai food and this was some of the best most flavorful soup I’ve had!

Very disappointed! Ordered take out Shrimp Pad Thai and Shrimps Green Curri, both were disgusting. Extremely greasy and the seasoning was off. The shrimp tasted old and peculiarly earthy. We were unable to take no more than 3 bites and have to discard it. I hope not to get sick from those few bites we ate. Never will eat there again.

I ordered takeout - spring rolls and pork pad thai. Overall, the taste/flavor was pretty bland; and the portions were mediocre. However, for the pork pad Thai, the meat portions were painfully disappointing. I probably had a grand total of 1-2 oz of pork in my dinner. Maybe food is better if you dine-in. Would not recommend getting take-out from here

Simply delicious! First time visiting Virginia and found this gem. I’ll definitely be back. Super clean , family run establishment. The love showed in their dishes.

Really good Thai place. The owners were courteous and welcoming. The food was really good. The crispy basil duck was crispy and flavourful. The Kaprow wings were good. I’m a big fan of their Tom kha soup. Will definitely go here to try their other Thai food options.

One of my favorite Thai restaurants in this area. Nice ambiance, doesn’t look like a fancy restaurant it looks more like a small diner. We went to have dinner last night and ordered Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, Pad Ka-Prow, and Pad Cashew everything was really good. No disappointment. Recommended

This is by far the best Thai food in the area and the service is great! The food always arrive and made in time. I never have to wait for the food when I order to go. I also love their rewards program. They also have vegetarian options.

I love the Pad See Ew! I will say, I definitely need to try out the rest of the menu but, that dish is my favourite! Have tried the curries and they are delicious as well! Get a Thai tea, it’s heavenly, love coming here to dine in and grab to go! Best Thai food I’ve ever had.

Would love this place if they could stay consistent with quantity first and quality. I know they use cheap and unhealthy oils but I’m willing to look past that on the days they execute on the taste which is about 2/3 of the time. Would pay more for organic ingredients cooked in quality oils.

Thai by Thai is AMAZING. Their food is always delicious, on point and bangin’. They consistently deliver their food ahead of schedule and no matter the circumstances. If you’re looking for a solid, ride or die restaurant with outstanding food and superb delivery, this is YOUR spot.

Food is usually quite good and most of the staff is very nice, however they do not properly clean the drink dispensers. Having been in the industry, I know how fast mold can grow in those taps, so getting a cup of water with a ton of black mold in it was quite worrying. Long time customer, but unfortunately I doubt I'll eat there again as this wasn't the first time I've found mold in my water or that I've had to play the "find a clean table" game.

Been going to Thai by Thai for over 10 years. Have tried a variety of things Crab fried rice and ka prow beef fried rice are our usual go to’s. Their monthly specials are really good as well. I love how they are so caring of their customers to send announcements about price changes and reasons behind that. It is an awesome personal touch of transparency for all their customers. Everyone is always awesome, the food is always really good. The peppers they use are from their own local farm. It is always a family type of vibe like you're getting a home cooked meal.

Overall a good experience. It's close to where I work so I end up going here more often than not. The food is fairly priced compared to other Thai restaurants in the area, and the portion sizes are about the same. Their fried rices of all varieties are nothing to write home about, including their crab fried rice which while decent didn't really have much flavor. Their pad Thai is passable, but I'd prefer more bean sprouts and crushed peanuts, as well as some more spice even at their mild level. I will say that the shrimp are cooked very well and are good sized in it. The restaurant itself is clean and the staff is attentive to the front. If you have a choice or more time, try out 'My Home Thai Bistro' in Herndon for a better overall experience.

One of our family members gave us a gift card for this restaurant, I went with family for dine in. While ordering I asked the server if they can let me know how much is available balance in the card. The guy said neither they can check nor they will accept this card for payment. The attitude was quite rude as well. Not going this place ever and will also share my experience with my friends.

We always love getting food from here. It's a "fast casual" style Thai place that is great for an easy family dinner. We love the Drunken Noodles and the Curry. The kids menu rice is also a generous serving. The prices are reasonable compared to other Thai places in the area, but the food is consistently up to par.

My mom and I came in here for lunch. Altogether we ordered the green curry, spring rolls, friend pork ribs, crab fried rice, and Thai iced tea. We enjoyed our food. The green curry was spicy just how I like it. I couldn’t stop eating it that I had to order another serving of rice.

Thai by Thai has great flavor in their dishes as well as some unique plates that I've never had before. Sun dried beef is an example. It's quite delicious. Wife got the Tom kha soup which was good as well. Service is quick and courteous. We just stopped in for a snack and we're not disappointed. We've been before and will go back.

Thai by Thai is a lovely little restaurant with delicious food, quick and friendly service and a welcoming environment. We went with an extremely large party of 7 children and 9 adults, which can sometimes be hard to accommodate. The staff didn’t bat an eye. They were polite and explained dishes we didn’t quite understand. The made room for our large party and kept the food coming, hot and fresh made to order. They made our children feel welcome and my grandfather got to try foods he’s never had before. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and a good time!
