am
a
63
year
old
woman
who
has
never
been
physically
active
and
was
never
motivated
to
exercise
consistently
on
my
own.
Because
of
health
reasons,
I
knew
I
had
to
start
some
kind
of
strength
training,
but
I
also
knew
it
would
involve
joining
a
gym
because
of
my
lack
of
motivation.
In
the
past
I
had
tried
large
gyms
but
never
really
felt
comfortable
in
an
environment
with
so
many
machines,
so
many
people
and
very
little
personalized
attention.
I
went
online
and
found
Arete
Athletics,
and
decided
to
check
it
out.
One
of
the
best
decisions
I
ever
made!
The
owners,
Sean
and
Adam,
were
very
welcoming
and
answered
my
questions
and
addressed
my
concerns.
I
started
going
to
the
gym
in
the
middle
of
July
and
am
now
attending
classes
three
times
a
week.
I
have
already
lost
a
few
pounds,
but
more
importantly,
feel
healthier!
The
classes
usually
have
less
than
six
people
in
them
and
the
coach
instructing
the
class
is
very
hands-on,
always
encouraging,
but
quick
to
adapt
certain
exercises
so
I
am
actually
able
to
do
them,
and
without
fear
of
injury.
Most
of
the
people
in
my
class
are
quite
a
bit
younger
than
me,
but
I
have
never
felt
intimidated
because
I
am
finding
a
lot
of
success
and
in
being
encouraged
to
do
MY
personal
best.
I
would
highly
recommend
Arete
Athletics,
especially
if
you
are
looking
for
a
gym
that
is
welcoming,
with
coaches
that
are
highly
trained
and
are
willing
to
help
you
no
matter
your
fitness
level.
