I used to love visiting this place a couple of years ago. They served some lip smacking fusion food . The food was simply bang for buck . Recently however, their quality has fallen off a cliff . I ordered the perfect balance bowl , and for the 15$ price tag, it’s more of a small sampling plate than being a “bowl” . The brown rice is hard as nails ,and their paneer needs to be cooked longer . The staff don’t seem to care for the customer either . Will not be visiting again !

Must try the fresh Nan! Great service & good food, a rare combination for an Indian restaurant. Great place for lunch or dinner without breaking the bank. Yes, they have Masala Chai :) Store has front& rear entrance.

The first time i went to Choolah was at their Pittsburgh location. That first visit made sure that i will visit Choolah again. The food that they serve is so delectable. I love their Paneer and Samosas. The Lemonade they have is very unique. Naans are always soft and cooked to perfection. This place is very enjoyable. Great food and great service.

I was very disappointed with their food. We went on a recommendation by a friend who has been there a few years ago. If I compare pictures of older reviews with my food, I understand why. I attached a picture of my samosa chat plate for a comparison. The chickpeas were sticking together like some thick cream, and overall all the components were put in the plate separately. We also ordered two bowls with tikka masala. The brown rice was hard, the chicken had a good marination but was not cooked thoroughly thus pink on the inside, the salad was dry and not fresh either, the tikka masala seemed just like some oily gravy. First and last time for me.

I give two stars because of the customer service I recieved the cashier. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. I’d like to know what I spent $32 on? Food was very average and bland if you ask me. I probably won’t return here. Pretty expensive for such little portions.

We have been to many other Indian restaurants before and this Indian franchise resturant and wanna to give it a try. It was just a mediocre. Would we go back again? We doubt it.

Choolah pre pandemic used to be really good with excellent quality. I visited for dinner last night and their quality has gone down a lot. Their portion sizes have become really small , you get sample sizes of food for the money they charge, very expensive for what they are serving. To top it off they served our paneer wraps and chicken&rice cold. I was very disappointed . I really wish they work on their quality, portion sizes and come back stronger soon.

Stopped by en route to another destination. The place was clean, and staff was awesome. Had chicken over rice and paneer over rice. Easy menu and tasty mix.

This place was such a let down. This place has a Chipotle-esq fast food vibe, but failed to deliver on it. First, let's start with the food, for the price there is no value here. The portions are lackluster and the variety is non-existent. This maybe would be acceptable if the food was stellar, but it wasn't. The masala sauce was watery, protein was non-existent (because they forgot it on my order and I had to ask about it (mistakes happen)), and everything has a overpriced upcharge. Want veggies? Add $5. Want extra rice? Add $2, etc. That said, the variety was also non-existent, your options were protein or veggies. Add a spring mix (no different then the one you find bagged in grocery stores) and brown or white rice, then add a sauce. That's it. Expensive chicken and rice is basically what you're paying for, which in fact took way too long to get prepare. That all said, the staff was super friendly, but that's all positive I could really say. I couldn't recommend this place. Hopefully they can diversify their menu and add some better value because at the moment, it is not worth visiting and with other similar restaurants popping up there are much better options. For reference, everything we ordered pictured cost about $50. 2 bowls (one of which they forgot chicken on and I had to ask for), 2 sodas, samosas and 1 extra naan. Hard pass on this place, don't waste your money.

The experience of having lunch at this Indian fast food restaurant was wonderful. I could either place my order using a screen or go straight to the counter. The meal selection was very simple and straightforward. I chose a chickpea wrap, masala milk tea, and dal. The tea was fragrant and refreshing, and the other two dishes were also impressive, as well as healthy and packed with nutrition. I was highly impressed.

I love the freshness of the food here. I’ve visited twice and haven’t been disappointed, yet. So far. The Tikka and Yellow (pictured) Masala is good! I haven’t figured out what pairs well with the sauces yet. In my opinion, they don’t complement the bowls well. Unless, they are made for the salads. Overall, great food and awesome service. The staff is very friendly.

Good clean place. Could be better. For wrap type and bowl type food it is good. However portion size have gone down not the price. If one is hungry will need two dish. In that case goto chipotle

Our first time here and got the panner bowl with roasted veggies and tikka masala. The food was pretty decent and the service was excellent.

Great quick-serve place featuring Indian-styled healthy food options. Staff was very helpful in assisting me with navigating through my food allergies. Has this really nifty automated hand-washing station.

Everything on the menu is so good! Their chicken and naan are the highlights for us. If you get a bowl, you can do a perfect balance and get veggies too!

Very delicious food, friendly service, fun interior decor—everything you would want for a modern fast food place. I love the “transparent” kitchen—you can see how they grill the meat, make the naan! The only reason I deduct one star is: the relatively small amount of the food. I didn’t feel full after eating the “balance bowl” and drinking my mango lassi. I wish they gave me the same amount of rice in the “choolaah bowl”; instead I only got 1/3 of the rice the choolaah bowl has.

Kati rolls (both veg and chicken) were amazing. Loved the tray/plate on which the food was served. Samosa chat was okay types.. Good place for small bites.

My all time favorite place. Best yummy fresh food. However, this time so much disappointed to see trashy floor and tables. Update: Everything got cleaned in less than 5 minutes and looks really good!

Good Indian style fast food joint which is somewhat non existent in USA. They don't have an extensive menu but they have some pretty good stuff . Must order the Pav Bhaji here . You won't be disappointed by it. The chicken and lamb wraps are very good but we found the paneer wrap to be a little dry and lacking seasoning, a little more sauce could be better in that. The bowls are good , try the chicken tikka masala which is very good . For drinks , they have Lassi, Chai , cold chai and lemonades . Try the Chai if you are not from the Indian sub continent and you will find it as a nice break from your regular coffee. Lassi is very good, thick in consistency and not overly sweet. Also you can dine in or opt for take out , they have a small dine in section inside for a quick bite. I rate it 4/5 .
