Always a pleasure going into this store. The staff is knowledgeable and well read. If you're shopping for yourself or someone else, they'll be full of suggestions. They can also order pretty much any book and special editions of your favorites.

I came here for Indie Bookstore Day 2023, and was impressed with the store. The layout is cozy and inviting, the staff is enthusiastic and helpful, and the day's programming was top-notch. Left with a bag of purchases! I will be back.

Occupying the site of the historic Readers Forum, Main Point Books is a beautiful independent bookstore (!!!) with a fine inventory of well-curated titles. Moreover, their schedule is filled with special events, including book talks by authors and others in the publishing world. As someone who's become an ashamed Amazon book shopper, it felt so warm and right to be in a real bookstore, surrounded by real books, bookshelves, and book lovers. I almost cried. I know having more independent bookstores won't save the world, but sure as heck can't hurt.

My absolute favorite bookstore! Main Point Books has everything: great books for all ages, well informed salespeople, comfortable chairs, a cozy kids corner, interesting displays, big bright windows, and lots of author events. I’ve been especially impressed with their covid safety protocol: indoor masking, curbside pick ups, and an easy to use website for online orders, including wrapping. (My photos are pre-pandemic) Wayne is a fun setting too, a great town to spend an afternoon. It’s well worth a detour!

Main Point is such a wonderful bookstore! They have an excellent selection that is expansive, but also well curated. The booksellers are friendly and always have great recommendations. I could spend hours browsing their shelves (and have on a few occasions)!

I want to love this local spot, but the man behind the counter was really really unpleasant. Maybe he was having a rough day, but when a customer is asking for a book or talking about a book he or she likes, best practice is to ask questions or smile and say "that's interesting", not just respond negatively with a side of arrogance. I know some people tend to always have a counterpoint or are inclined to be negative. However, as a shopper, no thank you.

Our favorite indie bookstore! We walk in and are immediately greeted by the lovely, warm staff. They are great at recommending books to us and we always leave with an armful. Their displays and shelf-talkers add a wonderful personal vibe. And they have a variety of events you can attend! 10/10!!!
