Valley Forge is one of my personal favorite spots in PA. It offers 3,500 acres of beauty! Perfect for hiking, walking trails, picnics & catching the sunset!

The River Trail is 3 miles long and parallels the Schuylkill River. This is a very pleasant mostly shaded walk from Betzwood PA. To Pawlings road. The trail is crushed stone and dirt ,no hills. Bikes OK, plenty of parking on eather end

Flat trail that runs along the schuykill river. Nice enough but a bit boring

I walked the river trail in valley forge national park. It is a one way rock path that runs alongside the water. It's shades and breezy. The parking lot is limited and on dirt so today was muddy but not too bad. I'll bring my bike next time I visit and explore further.

Hiking trail is good. Finding a parking spot was not easy so find a public parking spot rather than getting lost, but thats an adventure too I guess.

I love The Park. The historical markers are great. The people who use The Park are Awesome!! There is enough parking. The paths are pretty cool. There is a lot to like about a visit to Valley Forge National Park.

It’s been years since I have been here. It was my favorite place to go. I have hiked, biked and cross country skied here. All photos I posted were taken on this path and by the river.

Always fun at valley forge park! The Schuylkill river is a great way to cool off!
