Just trying to schedule with them was awful, I do not want to go for my scan. I tried their online system to request an appointment and never received any response other than an email saying they received my request. I then called and made an appointment a month in advance. I was 1st offered an appointment when a Doctor would not be available, so basically a scan with no information and a phone call later. I declined and took a later appointment. 2 weeks later they call and say they have to cancel the appointment because they do not have a tech or doctor for my scheduled time. The receptionist then said it wouldn't matter because we can do the scan up to 22 weeks. She then said the next available date was 2 weeks from my original appointment (basically a month from when they were canceling) I will be one day away from 23 weeks at that point. I have requested a different referral from my doctor. If you cannot even manage your appointment I do not trust you. Also these other reviews make me feel like I am lucky to have not had to go there!

I’m very surprised by the bad reviews. I have gone here my entire pregnancy due to high risk pregnancy and previous loss. I had my anatomy scan here where they took their time to show me everything on my baby, spoke kindly to me through it, and gave me photos. My husband and I both had genetic testing done and spoke to the genetic counselor who was kind and knowledgeable. Towards the end of my pregnancy I was being seen weekly due to pre eclampsia, where they found a solid management for to allow me to get to 37 weeks without emergency complications. Every appointment was quick, easy to understand. The front receptionists are very kind and easy to make appointments. I’ve never waited 10 or more minutes past my appointment time. The office has been clean every time with no issues.

They will scam you. They lied to me for months about my baby to try to get me to go to specialty appointments so they could over charge me and my insurance. Once I told them I was leaving for another practice they added random things to make my last visit astronomical. They never showed me any stats to back up what they were saying. I tried to ask questions and was always ignored or talked in circles because they are all frauds.

Absolutely disgusting. Sewage started flowing from the sink during the appointment and the technician didn’t stop. I couldn’t see what was happening until afterwards. Front office staff rude and lack professionalism. Go to Inova Fairfax for better service and where you won’t get charged for the ultrasound images.

Not happy about this place. Not sure why my OBGYN recommended this place instead of INOVA Fairfax Hospital, which is where I went for my first pregnancy. The front desk lady was rude because I went with my husband and kid. When I made the appointment they never said anything about kids not been allowed. I understand that every place is different but there are ways to stay things politely like, “I’m sorry policy does not allow kids in the office.” Once in the room for the ultrasound, another bad experience. The lady performing the ultrasound not the nicest, very cold and fast talker. Didn’t even spend much time there, few minutes and she was done, she said my baby didn’t want to move so we were done. I do not plan to go there again, I’ll request my doctor to go to INOVA hospital instead, where they are much nicer and professional.

What a dump. The chairs in the waiting room had black grime on them. The examination table had deep cracks in the leather that exposed the lining. They had missing ceiling tiles. I wanted to record the heart beat but they don't allow that, and the ultrasound tech was not friendly. I really don't understand how this place can look this run down while making the kind of money they make. And the images they sent us via email of our baby have their name in a big water mark on the photo, so the images are pretty much useless if you want to put one in a picture frame and give it to family. My wife and I will not be going back to this dirty place.

Second time coming here for an ultrasound, I was surprised with all of the negative reviews . We did have to wait longer than expected today for our appointment as they were running behind , but the staff was apologetic and very polite. We enjoyed working with our sonographer, I regret not grabbing her name, she was super warm and sweet. I wasn’t feeling well and even had to vomit a couple of times during the appointment. She was very accommodating and tried to make me as comfortable as possible. Dr Thomas was AMAZING. So knowledgeable, easy to talk to and gave a ton of helpful information for how I could combat my nausea. Most doctors will send you along if the concerns are not directly related to the purpose of your visit but he really took his time to answer all our questions . The front desk staff were all friendly as well- overall a great experience despite the sickness

Today’s visit was just terrible. I told both the front desk and the ultrasound tech that my boyfriend was running a little bit behind. I asked if I could wait and instead they sent me right in to my appointment. The tech would barely let me text him to check in. She rushed the whole visit, and said she couldn’t get any pictures because of the position of the baby (yet I saw on the screen just fine). She pushed me out the door within 5 minutes. My boyfriend walked in just as I was pushed out of the room. I don’t understand why she couldn’t have waited and why the appointment was so rushed? Some people really look forward to these sonogram appointments as they can be rare. For someone to have to miss the appointment by 5mins after driving an hour? No one was in the waiting room, it wasn’t closing time - just plain rude and disappointing.
